Stuart & John's is an awesome family restaurant. Run by their family and friends we always enjoy a huge breakfast with their hot maple syrup. The farmers breakfast would satisfy anyone. They have a great summer menu with lobster rolls and fresh hand dipped seafood to die for. Ice cream with homemade hot fudge sauce just can't be beat. Car cruise every Thursday night all summer makes this a fun time for the whole family, my kids love the play yard with a huge sandbox.

I don't know what some people are talking about and must not be from around the area. We have been eating at S&J for 10 plus years and now in the summer you can get lunch and dinner. In short don't belive what you read. Week after week you can see repeat business.

I thought this place was awful! I was disappointed. From the outside, it looked like it would be a nice place to eat. A friend and I stopped there for breakfast. For one thing, the plates, cups, and silverware were all the disposable kind. The inside looked like a cafeteria and the seats were uncomfortable. We ordered some pancakes, which we thought were very bland. I also tried a bacon and cheese omelet. The bacon in my omelet wasn't even chopped up and the cheese they used was plain old American Cheese. I believe most other restaurants use cheddar or provolone in their omelets. Oh, and our waitress never came around to check on us and my friend had to ask another server for a refill on his coffee. I too had to ask another restaurant employee (not our waitress) for ketchup for my home fries. Needless to say, we were not impressed at all with this place and would never go back!

This is a great spot for tourists and New England natives alike. Very informal atmosphere and fantastic home-cooked meals.. Lunch & dinner menu's featuring seafood, burgers, salads, wraps, grinders etc. The many flavored, homemade ice cream comes in cones, cups and sundaes with homemade hot fudge. Ice cream also sold in pints and quarts. They also sell many grades of maple syrup in attractive gift bottles. Specialty nights are Wednesday - all you can eat fish and chips, Thursday - Car Cruise Night, Friday - surf & turf. Indoor/outdoor seating with kid's outdoor play-land. Only drawback is they're not open all year round. (603) 399-4486. I highly recommend the waffle fries. Breakfast only served in certain months.
