The prices are pretty good, however it is really hard to find anything you are looking for in the store. Though you see employees everywhere they never are very helpful.
The store is usually in chaos, which I found with all Market baskets I have been in.
It is weird how certain stores attract a certain type of people, though this isn't Market Basket's fault, I have come across the same type of people in each market basket, they are rude, they don't know how to navigate a store isle, they get in your way I have actually come across people in groups just standing in the middle of the isle just chatting away.

In the winter the store is very dirty, I don't know what it is but Shaw's and Stop n Shop don't seem to have that problem.

I have found the quality of the fruits and veggies become much better over the years.

Forget trying to find a parking spot, it is next to impossible, and the set up of the parking lot stinks too, there is a constant stream of people walking where you are trying to drive, you try to be nice and let them go but if you let everyone go you would be there forever

By the time I leave the store I am just plain grumpy.

Comparitively, once you consider the $10 certificate that the store across the street hands out once you reach $200 in aggregate purchases (doesn't have to be all at once), the pricing at Market Basket and Stop and Shop in Hudson NH is relatively the same/ maybe a few dollars higher or lower at either store depending on what you buy.

However, what really sets Stop and Shop across the street from Market Basket apart is the service. Expect to wait at least 30 minutes to check out during times like Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, and right before a snowstorm. In comparison, I've shopped Stop and Shop many times during these days and the lines have been no longer than 2 people deep (approx 10 minutes). Also, Market Basket is much more difficult to navigate since they stock during the day, which creates obstacles, where stocking during the day is minimal or nonexistent at Stop and Shop.

Though, at least the pricing is consistent with their other stores. For people that have been to Stop and Shops in MA, the one in Hudson NH is priced lower.

This is a nice size supermarket. I like the store because it usually has stuff the other ones don't have. The place is clean. Customer Service people are nice. Parking is not easy. It is hard finding a spot. There is alot to buy in a big store.

PROS: has alot of stuff
CONS: small parking area
