to all of the people who said good things thank you.i have worked at the pet store for 2 years now i am a animal lover and owner and for all of the bad comments i would NOT work there if the animals where miss treatedalso with kittens and dogs if we say they should be for sale after their vet check and they are not then the vet might have found something wrong with them, there are many common things kittens and puppies can get that is easily fixed with some meds. Also if they are for sale one day and then the next they are not someone could have found something wrong with them that morning and we dont want to take the chance of selling someone a sick animal.

for the past couple of months i have been trying to buy a kitten... so i thought that i would try little critters. when i went in there and saw that they had a kittens i was stoked. there were not ready yet, that was fine i understood that they had to be checked by a vet. i asked one of the employees when they would be ready.. he replyed well im sure that they will be for sale and ready to go on the tursday of the next week... that next week i went in on that tuseday just to see them, they were not in the case... i walked up to an employee/manager and asked if they were in the back room.. she relpyed with a very snotty "umm if there is nuthing out then we dont have any more." dispite my better judgement i went back there a while after. i saw more kittens it said they were for sale, i didnt have the money on me so i went back the next day.. mind u all the way from dover just to see a sticker on the cadge that they were not ready for sale... i was heartbroken... soo what im trying to say is that this place really needs to get it together and needs to have more costermer edequet... they also need to take BETTER CARE of there fish most of them have ick ( fish disease) and ALSO they have had the same puppy there for at least 6 months... mabee they should alow offers its quiet obvous that the price is too high maybe thats y no one is buying it.... poor puppy

so far i haven't had aproblem with the store itself but the last review infuriated me. domestic animals (rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs etc...) don't stand a chance in nature. setting them free is a absolute death sentence by starvation, eaten by another animal or they become road kill. humane euthanasia is the ONLY way to destroy unwanted, sick or vicious animals. any unwanted pet can find a place in an animal shelter or if you so want euthanized by a vet.

Little Critter is a FANTASTIC pet store! They are all very passionate about the animals and take great care of them. The story about the hamsters is crap! They were nasty little beasts and instead of killing them, he allowed them to have a chance in nature. That is much more humane then killing them.
going to be healthy and happy. It is one of the best pet stores around. Do not judge them based on what a review says, go see for yourself!

Ratings_icons Best pet store

Little Critter Pet Center is one of the best pet stores I have ever been in in my entire life. Every employee truly cares about animals and is very knowledgeable. The animals are extremely well cared for and yes their animals are high in price....but you get what you pay for. They vet check all of their animals and they stand by their health warranties. If you want a healthy pet and you want to know about what your buying shop at this pet store. They are by far the best around.

Ratings_icons Great neighborhood pet store

This place is a neighborhood pet store. They are very nice and helpful. Their selection is as good as anywhere else, and the quality is just the same. They were able to help me just recently when i needed an emergency replacement fish for my son. They help me get one that looked just like the one he had before, and the staff even stayed late to help me get this. If you are worried about parking here, don't they have plenty of it.
