I came here with my family after my college graduation two years ago. Delicious Thai food, clean and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

My daughter and mother had lunch at Thai Garden recently and they had a wonderful experience. My daughter came home raving about the soup she had and well as her main course. The staff was very friendly to my daughter and she will most definitely be a return customer.

The little unassuming Thai Garden in the bustling college town of Keene (next to Lab and Lager) looks like nothing special on the outside. We've been twice already, and we plan on many more visits!

First of all, the food is beyond excellent. Authentic Thai cuisine, flavorful and cooked to perfection. I had a red curry bowl with a side of rice, and my husband had a chicken and veggie dish. The flavor of the red curry was so good that I wanted to keep eating it even after I was full. I wished it were spicier, because the menu said it was very hot but turned out not to be so hot, but then again, I have very spicy tastes. My husband assures me it was hot:). His dish had an interesting smoky flavor. The veggies were crispy and the chicken wasn't grisly like in a lot of Asian-type restaraunts. Some of the food there can best be described as "good, but weird", like the chicken coconut soup I had on my first visit. I found it an interesting experience.

One thing deserves extra mention: the Thai Iced Tea and Iced Coffee are two of the most tasty drinks I've ever had. I can't even describe their unique flavor (Dunkins it ain't!). You just have to try it.

The prices were in the teens per entree, and rice does cost $1 extra and you don't get a whole vat of it like at a Chinese place. The entree portions were deceptive: much more food than you think! I could not finish my curry bowl, so I got to have delicious leftovers. So, it may be a pricier evening out, but *so* worth it.

The service is "different". Instead of getting your own waiter, a handful of waiters work the entire floor and come around whenever you need something. Each person seemed to be in charge of certain things, like there were a couple water carriers who refilled your water, and people who seemed only to serve food. It kind of gave me a pampered feeling:).

I can't praise this place high enough. Give it a try!

i can believe that i can find such a great thai food in this small town, the taste of food is very delicious, fresh, good quality, promtly served, you would never find a best food like this when consider the very cheap price of meals, better than other asian food nearby or even newly open chain restaurents around there. i would recommend chicken satay, steamed dumling, pad thai, yellow curry, bangkok duck for the beginner and unforgettable freah mango with sweet sticky rice dessert, also my favorite drink, thai ice tea.....
the staffs are also very accomodating and provide you a great service especially on weekdays. i really love this place.
p.s. they just got best thai restaurent in NH,2005

Message from Thai Garden

Thai food is known to be chili hot, but traditional Thai dishes must not be predominantly hot. There must always be a harmony in a dish. The sharpness of the chilies and the spices in a curry dish are toned down by the sweetness of the coconut milk, which also enhances the flavors and tastes of other delicate ingredients and herbs! We also provide a lot of dishes which are prepared without the chili.
