With the recent cold snap I woke up to find my furnace was not working and my house was very cold. I placed a call to Joyce Cooling and Heating around 8am. The person who answered the phone explained that there were a lot of calls that day but if I could be flexible they would definitely make it out to take care of my heating issue. I asked them to give me a 20 minute heads up when they were going to be coming to my house. After all I didn't want to wait in a cold house. The service technician called me at about 11:30 that morning to inform me that I was next on his list. He showed up about 25 minutes later, promptly diagnosed the problem, and had the part on the truck to get my heat going. The price was fair and I will be using them in the future for all my heating and air conditioning needs.

We found Joyce heating when we searched online. It was a disappointing experience. Our vents were only providing cold air when the heat was switched on. They were prompt in coming by and checking the unit and said a part needed to be replaced. He didn't come inside the house to check anything else. Because it was Sat we got charged for emergency service and we had to move out of the house because of the cold. On Monday we called the technician and didn't get much of a response but heard that he had come by and replaced the part. When we came home the vent was still giving cold air. Apparently another technician had come by and replaced the part. So we had to go without heat again that night. The next day the technician who replaced the part came by and checked the house and said the vents seemed to be closed which is causing the heat to shut off. So he went out and checked the unit and checked the part again and this time it worked. He obviously fixed it to do whatever was needed this time around or the part may have not been defective at all. Our vents have been like since we bought the house seven years ago. He then sent us a bill for the emergency service and the part and a diagnostic charge for the next day which was unnecessary. I called the owner and he argued that it was a legitimate charge as it was two separate issues. I completely disagreed and felt we were charged for a diagnostic for no reason as they should made sure the heat kicking on after they replaced the part and checked the thermostat and the house. I think their technicians are able but their service and follow through after is quite poor. I unfortunately will not use them again and would not recommend them either after this incident.

My house had an old boiler/radiant system as well as some electric radiators (and no air conditioning). I had Joyce install an entirely new whole-house system: A/C, furnace, electrical, and ductwork. This wasn't a small job and I was very thorough getting 10 different bids. I chose Joyce because they had a competitive bid, they gave me a variety of options/prices as far as equipment, and they have a good reputation. It couldn't have been a better experience. The Joyce crew was prompt, clean, professional, and their work is top notch. They dedicated plenty of people to the job. There were no fewer than 5 people here for about 4 days (and sometimes as many as 8) until the job was 100% complete. That was one year ago and everything has operated perfectly since. Thank you, Joyce.

They had the lowest price out of all of them and they were great!! They came out right away and installed the new furnace in an afternoon. Shawn was so nice and friendly even when my kids kept going down to see what he was doing. I haven't had a single problem since it was installed. I won't call anyone but Joyce again.
