Lived in town 7 years at this point. Moved from NJ, and had a good, reliable and honest car guy there. Wondered what we'd find in Rindge, NH. Started off with a shop about 4 miles away, and had bad, and unnecessarily expensive, experiences. With a big job pending, we asked a guy who was doing work for us, a contractor, if he had any suggestions, and he told us about Rindge Quality Auto; said he'd been going there for years and never had a complaint. Now I can say the same thing. Oh: as regards the "big" job. Vick (the owner) diagnosed it, said it just needed checking when the car had it's regular maintenance, and that we'd probably never have to have the part replaced. That saved $500, and since the other place's diagnosis had been wrong anyway, probably another $500 to do the (still unnecessary) job right the second time around. Vick's charge ... $45. Love the guy. Shop's always a mess (except when his wife comes in and neatens up a little); but the work's A1, and Vick's never taken advantage of me. A fancy interior doesn't pay for that.
