As the name suggests this is a great place to bring the family. Great Italian food with good portions at reasonable prices. Enjoy a nice tiramisu for desert.

We originally stumbled on this place on our way back from a vacation in Maine. Wow! Based on the area and the look of the place from the outside I was expecting your run-of-the-mill small town Italian feedbag, but these guys really know what they're doing. There's quite a range from BBQ chicken pizza (ugh - made with bbq sauce. not that it's bad here, I guess, I just would never try it) to a putanesca to die for. The last time my wife had tonno which had a blueberry salsa. Very creative and it really worked! I forgot to mention that we usually start with the calamari which comes with a pomodoro sauce. Yum!

The service is always just right. Prompt, but you never feel rushed. The owner and chef, Pat, stopped by two out of the three times we've been there to make sure everything was OK. He's a very friendly guy and really wants to make sure everything is going well for his customers. Next time I'm going off the menu to see what he comes up with!

The only reason I don't give it a 10 is that it's not on the harbor in Boston where it belongs. (not much of a view, etc.) Other than that you will NOT be dissapointed. Great food. Very reasonable prices. Can't ask for more than that!!!

Pros: Quality of food - true Italian with some creative touches

Cons: Right on route 3 - not a big deal becasue you're inside, but a place like this deserves a view.
