Great teachers. Clean. Fun playground area. Will be coming under new management in March. In the 3 years my kids have been there, I've only had one complaint and it was promptly taken care of.

I have had my child at the Launching Pad for 2 years now and while I love the 2 teachers she has had during that time, I have not been pleased with the management at all. The teachers clearly do their best and are loving, but on any given afternoon when I pick up my child, there are children ages infant to age 5 in the same room and 1 or 2 teachers doing the best they can. Additionally, I have been appalled with the unhealthy menu and food options they provide to the children - sugared cereal 1-2 times a week, bologna, etc. Lots of high sugar, hi-fat, white carb foods all the time. Also, we are not an FAA family just a lowly community family. Community families are basically second class citizens as far as the president is concerned.

This child care is by far the worst management i have ever seen. The staff, owner, and director mainly care about themselves. When i went to pick my child up, at often times the place was so understaffed that i would notice a baby with the lady who was working at the front desk! sometimes 2! also, when i picked up my toddler i had to go into the preschool room, where i noticed not only 2 year old, but 3 year olds, 4 year olds, AND 5 year olds in the same classroom! the owner cares about business and that is it. The staff was cold, the director did not seem to have good control over her employees. My son could not wait to get out of there every day. i would never reccommend this place to anyone!!

I was employed at The Launching Pad Child Learning Center for 6 years. I started there part-time as an after school job. As time passed and my schedule started to free up more time I was becoming a frequent face around the halls of LAP. I would go in early, work the extended hours for FAA parents, and dedicate hours on my weekend as well. Through my college years my working hours were done according to my availability around classes. LAP was beginning to become a second home to me. I taught Summer Camp 3 summers in a row and developed strong relationships with my co-workers, children and their parents. Unfortunately, the management was poorly maintained. The owner belittled her staff, our hourly wages were not sufficient to the work put in and at times I never felt appreciated. Ratios are not always maintained and "what's best for the child" is often forgotten. I give my kudos to the staff members who are there (they do a fantastic job) however, the way things are ran need some tweaking.

The owner refused to enroll our two boys after we were told countless times that we were on the waiting list!!! Not having the two openings that were promised has forced us to keep our boys in a significantly more expensive daycare center that we can??t afford and was only utilizing due to lack of choices. We have exhausted all avenues; however there are no similar priced alternatives with two openings for at least 5-6 months. It should be known that The Launching Pad Child Learning Center has not only lied to us and reneged on a verbal agreement, but they have also struck a significant financial blow and caused extreme frustration to a young, struggling family.
