I would not use TRUE BLUE CLEANERS AGAIN. I brought a comforter in to be cleaned in the fall. The lining shrunk by 2 1/2" both in width and length, and the batting was all bunched up, it is unusable now. This comforter cost $150, but they only felt that they had to reimbursed me $30 for it, plus they gave me a credit for the dry cleaning, which I will never use because I refuse to go back there. I have a favorite cleaners, but tried TBC because of the price. What a mistake! I found their dry cleaning to be very mediocre at best, and now I have to go out and buy a new comforter at my expense. Stay away from this place!

Stay away from this business. True Blue are not honest, as the other reviews here and elsewhere will confirm. They took in a man's dress suit for dry cleaning, charged me the full $18.57 and returned the suit without ever touching it. The trouser and jacket creases were all exactly as when I dropped it off, and the pocket handkerchief had never seen a drop of cleaning fluid. They didn't even pretend to clean or press the suit, just charged me the full fee and admitted they don't do any cleaning there at all. Apparently, the do farm out some garments to a third party, but no such luck with my suit, and many others from the avalanche of warning reviews. Let my loss be your lesson, and stay away!

Please beware when dealing with this cleaner. They lost my husband's shirt 3 months ago, and it somehow showed up today in a delivery but it isn't his shirt! We have made many phone call but have gotten no satisfaction and now they have brought us someone else's shirt! Very disappointed with the handling of this situation.

Don't go to True Blue Cleaners! Trust me the director of the company Joel is the worst life form on the planet! He treats women like dirt He deserves to be in prison for being such a scum of a human being. I hope he gets what he deserves! They don't care at all about customer satisfaction.

They aren't the cheapest gig in town but their quality is so good, others can't really compare. I don't know what the previous poster was talking about, I have never experienced rudeness like that, ever. In fact, the one I go to, the girl is so nice that one time she did a special favor for me and rushed something last minute when I really needed it. And, there was a time when a collar button broke on my husband's shirt and they replaced it, no problem. So I don't know, but who brings a painting to a dry cleaners anyway??

Pros: Great quality, really nice staff
Cons: Not as cheap as some of the "mom and pops", but cheaper than Zoots.

I brought a hand-painted silk canvas into Benjamin Cleaners to see if they could clean it. The young woman behind the counter said they could clean it but she didn't know how much it cost, and the manager had already left for the day. She wrote a note on it stating NOT to clean the silk until I got assurances from the manager that it could be cleaned and a quote from the manager. The manager didn't call, so I went back to the store two days later - only to discover they had already cleaned it (and put the note back on it!) and all the handpainting had washed off. I was upset and asked to talk to the manager, who - again - was not in the store. I called her many times and when she finally took my call she didn't even apologize - not even a fake, "we're sorry this happened." Instead, I got yelled - which only spun me up more, then then sworn at - and eventually hung up on. She said it was my fault for leaving it with the "girl" behind the counter because "the girl doesn't know anything". I asked about the note - why it had been cleaned when there was a note on it specifically stating not to clean it - that I was waiting to hear if it could be cleaned and for a quote of how much it would be... her response: "I can't be in the store all the time." What the hell does that mean? After I was sworn at/hung up on, I called the owner. The owner, too, blew me off and said they don't do paintings and I shouldn't have left it with the clerk behind the counter. I explained (and have the note) that the clerk wrote, "DO NOT CLEAN. Customer wants estimate first." but he said it wasn't his problem because I shouldn't have dropped it off. So it's my fault that HIS employees aren't trained, and it's my fault that no one can read a note that specically stated it I was waiting for assurances that it could be cleaned and a quote to do it? A note that someone removed before the cleaning and put back on AFTER they cleaned it? I contacted the better business bureau, and he ignored them as well. If you value your items, DO NOT USE Benjamin Cleaners. (They are also known at "True Blue Cleaners".) They not only blow off their customers, but they don't respond to Better Business Bureau complaints.

I had a terrible experience with Benjamin's. I brought my expensive down comforter to them and they ruined it. I discovered it when I got it home, they never told me at the store. I brought it back and they told me it was cheap and not their fault. I asked them why they were able to clean it TWICE with no problems before that and they said nothing. No only did I receive no compensation for the comforter, which was good quality and purchased from a major department store (Macy's), they would not refund the cleaning fee either. Ask yourself if this is the kind of cleaner you want to do business with. I don't and they have lost my family's business forever.

PROS: none
CONS: incompetent and difficut to deal with

This is the only dry cleaner I use in town. Not only is it convenient (right off exit 4) but they are quick and friendly. Their prices are about the same as other dry cleaners but they always have coupons in the local paper and magazine that we get in the mail. I have never had a problem with my clothing that I had dry cleaned.
