The food was bad very bad. We had the onion rings to start with and they were not good, the meatloaf meal had no flavor whatsoever, the mac and cheese also had no flavor. The silverware was dirty as were the restrooms. We felt ill after the meal. The only thing that can help this place is a bulldozer.

We usually eat at Tilton Diner about twice a month. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are large. The offer different specials each day. They also have old fashion milk shakes which are great!!!!

The Tiltn diner is in the midst of all the outlet stors in Tilton New Hampshire. It is a must stop and see. The food is great home cooking. The oldies theme is fun. Food is served up with a smile by a staff the really seam to enjoy their work. Give yourself some time to enjoy your meal as they are very busy and sometimes the wait can be a little long. But well worth it.

This diner features "Oldies" motifs and kitchen table and chair style dining. There is a wide variety of items on the menu sure to please just about everyone in the family. It can get really crowded, so be prepared to have a bit of a wait for seating sometimes. But if you have to wait, you can entertain yourself in the "lobby" area by looking at the old Time and Life magazines for sale (finding one for the week/day of your birthday is a fun surprise) and browsing through the items for sale (payment is on the "honor system") They host classic car cruises in the summer and Laconia Bike Week means crowds any time of the day. The food is pretty good, but what I have had the several times I have been there isn't what I'd call "outstanding". The seafood dish I had was supposed to have a cheese cream sauce on it, but when the seafood cooked, it released water and juices and "watered down" the sauce leaving it very bland. The root beer float was a little too overloaded with ice cream leaving little root beer taste, but the fun atmosphere lets yoube a little more forgiving if things aren't quite 5 star. Worth the visit if you're in the lakes region of NH and are waxing nostalgic.
