Carroll Street Auto
10/23/12: 'Ripped off'
In my opinion Carroll Street Auto of New Hampshire
Totally misrepresented car they sold me, they will tell you what ever to keep you from seeing cars in person before you buy by giving you a sense they are honest and can be trusted with their descriptions and that the car is really nice and owner of business is also an appraiser to give you that feeling they are trust worthy. You think you are buying a yenko clone High Performance Car. They use some facts like 454 motor, looks like 10,000 paint job, complete restoration, gauges added and look to be done very well, car was at Mecum or Barrett Jackson action were it sold, in fact one of the documents says rotisserie restoration with pics and documents, what you really get is mid 1970 truck non high performance engine and drive train 270 HP, dash cluster and panel all cut up with gauges glued in and butchered wiring job , paint and body work cracks appearing in many places very poor and improper body work, mag wheels installed and fender flares on inside of wheel wells cut out so tires and wheels would fit, all of these things could not see by pics nor were told, yes car was at auction but bid was very low it did sell but after auction by private deal, man who brought had no idea what he was buying. This is how they use partial truths, car was done 5 years ago and everything is done wrong and unprofessional, come to find out by paper work a kids tuner shop did car build, but you are never informed of all the facts, . I just retired and live long distance from their location, the car I bought was based on pics on internet, their site and descriptions I received from them, they are very good at making you feel they are trustworthy and honest when the facts are all based on partial truths, I take responsibility for this very bad purchase I made, for not doing my inspection in person or having someone professional do it, but the cost of flying after two very disappointing trips and over a 1,000 dollars in air and hotel bills to look at individuals cars that were also not as described, gets very costly and I thought I be better buying from company where their business is built around customer satisfaction, do not listen to a word they say they are very good at twisting the facts around and giving you partial correct information, better yet do not buy from them unless you are able to verify condition and documents are what they say, not how they twist them around, in my opinion they are not trust worthy people, In the near future I will be posting on face book and other consumer sites where people could ask for photos and info I would be happy to supply , I am not going to sit back and take this from people who are dishonest, car is complete mess and is going to take a fortune and a lot of time to repair, not what I thought I was buying, I do not even think with several thousand dollar of needed work to repair, replace and rebuild to what I WOULD BE COMFORTABLE selling car at would I be close to getting my initial investment back,
Do not buy car from these individuals or company, I am sure I am not the first person to get burned but I will not stay quite about it.

These guys are just rude. Tried to make a deal for a car and was just about ignored. Would not buy a bicycle from them. Not good business people at all . Stay away from a dealer like this
