The reason I rated them so low is because of their prices and what they did for homecoming. They raised their prices just enough to be noticed for all the homecomers. And when we had no place else to park, we parked in the plaza near their market. We went out and had some fun at the university. When we came back, we we're all surprised that our vehicles were being towed. So we went and asked the property manager to waive the cost because we got our supplies from there and couldnt have been parked more than a couple hours. He essentially said he didnt give a rats ass and told us to start walking to the tow lot. I think the marketplace is good for campus students, but the owner didnt seem to give two craps for the people giving him so much business this weekend.

This is a very expensive place to shop for items However, it is a convenient place for college students especially if you do not have a car.

For Being on a college campus it is a little pricey, but a good location being so close to campus. Buying alcohol can be a pain for college students of age considering they ask for just about everything but your birth certificate.

I bought a platter of veggies for a party and it was more than just carrots and brocolli. There was also aparagus! Maybe it was the garishes, but the presentation was more appealing than a tray you might find at a chain grocery store. They also have wonderful fresh flowers to go with the party tray for an AWESOME presentation at the party. I would recommend the Durham Market Place (affectionaly known as "The Dump" on campus) as a place to order catered goods.

PROS: Great selection, beautiful platters
CONS: a bit pricey, but parties are worth it
