Borders

Borders is part of my world. I live there, mostly. Racking up the free coffee (from Borders Rewards) like it's my job.
The staff is friendly and the store is neat, well-stocked and spacious.If you spend enough time there ( like I do) you start to recognize regulars. Your own little community!
And it's a short hop across the parking lot from The Used Bookstore....which is really not competition, as they carry older stuff.

This is a great store. You can listen to music, or read books or magizines. It is very quiet there so it is a good way to spend a free afternoon. They have a very good and varied seleciton of books for you to choose from. There is a book for almost everybody.

If yo want to just go to the bookstore and relax in their cafe that is fine. You can also buy a book. They have lots and lots of books. There prices are competitive. Periodically there are coupons on the internet for discounts. There magazine selection is good. It is nice place to be on a cold winter day.

PROS: pleasant place to just hangout and relax at the cafe
CONS: sometimes lines can be long

I love the cozy atmosphere and that you can listen to music and read and relax and sip a coffee or lattee from the little cafe that they have there are well.
