DO NOT USE THIS REPAIR SERVICE. Jon came and diagnosed the problem and I paid for him coming out, then POOF he disappears. Had no problem cashing the check the very next day. Could not get a hold of him for 2 weeks so had to pay for another service to come out. Not a way to run a business and leave people high and dry or in my case without a working fridge!

In the beginning, it seemed like Jon would be a reliable, prompt, and person of integrity, but it went down hill quickly. My appliance was "fixed", but then it wasn't as it acted up soon after. He did come out to the house and see what was wrong and from there it lead to here. It has been more than a year since this began and it has lead to not hearing from him, to finally getting in touch with him to have one broken promise after another of showing up, getting back to me, and this is the case even on this day. I will say on this day he at least called to let me know that he would be about an hour later than he had said, but now it is 5 !/2 hours after his last call. No word, no show. I am not sure what is worse someone not returning your many calls, making appointments and not showing up without a word, or having him return a call, promise to show up, being kind enough to actually call this one time to say I'll be late, and still not call again or show up. One excuse after another, but in the end I think I have been more patient then anyone would. If you want someone who has what I would classify as good business or personall integrity then don't call Jon. We all have family, personal problems, money problems, etc., but is it right to run a business and not deliver a paid for service. If you want charity then go to a church or at least be honest and put a jar on your counter so people know that you are taking there money without expecting anything back. Don't take my money, say you will do something you don't, and call it a business. I only went there because for years it had a good reputation, but I guess it was info from all the old timers that dealt with the previous two generations. When you meet people and they seem "nice" I guess we better define what nice means to us. Broken word, broken refrigerator for a year now, no respect in having someone wait for you, taking money for a job not done, etc. Does this seem nice? My neighbor would have worked harder and been more apologetc trying to fix my refrigerator even though he probable wouldn't be able to because that is not what he does than I have experienced with Jon. That seems nice to me.

John arrived and provided prompt, reliable, excellent quality workmanship when we were in a jam. He fixed both our dishwasher and serviced our fridge. We didn't need to buy a new fridge thanks to John, which saved us lots of frustration and money! He's a second-generation Farmington appliance repair guy, and certified and knowledgeable.
