I love Flatbread pizza! They use organic ingredients and the food is great. The atmosphere at this location is especially fun and comoforting--you can watch your own pizza being baked in the stone-oven! They have a great bar, with a wide variety of local beer, or you could get their famous maple-syrup infused lemonade-mmmmm. They even have local events here and often have live bands. Fun place in a great location.

The owners are at least presenting a zen to food. The clay oven is wood fired and cooks pizzas at double the normal temps. The veggies are organic and so is the sausage which is homemade. The dough is made from 100% organic wheat. The best thing is that the pizza, even though it is not round and cut into triangles, is a fabulous combination of ingrediants. The sausage alone is worth going for. The dough was cooked completely. The sauce was tangy. The cheese could have been a better grade.
This is a gourmet pizza, and it is priced as such. $15.50 in 2005 for about a 12" pie. The atmosphere is basic and is hard on the eyes. I felt I was eating in a cave. I guess that is a good thing so I can concentrate on tasting every bite of flatbread pizza.

This place is good....REAL GOOD.

Four friends and I visited after hiking in the White Mountains one day, and we were all thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere is so relaxed that you won't want to leave. The food is so good that you'll find yourself craving it again the following day.

Take note that the restaurant gets really crowded on saturday nights, and finding the place can be difficult, even though it is right off NH 16. Get directions from their website.
The Woodstock Inn in Woodstock & Flatbread of North Conway are my two favorite affordable restaurants in northern New Hampshire.
