Shalimar India Restaurant

If you want to enjoy excellent foods and dream about them for several days that follow, this is the place. An Indian person recommended this restaurant to me and this has been THE Indian restaurant for me. Although I was told their foods were not exactly authentic, their foods are excellently prepared with lots and lots of wonderful aromas that you dont find anywhere else.

The Shalimar has amazing Indian food. Everything is excellent and it's a great place to hang out in Portsmouth. It's difficult to find good Indian food in NH but this place is definitely recommended.

Amazing Indian food! The shalimar is is great for a date night, family dinner, or just going out with friends in downtown. Once you try the shalimar you are certain to return and will rave about it to friends. A Portsmouth must!

I have never been to India but going to Shalimar is as close as I am going to get right now. At least with the food. It is amazing the food is so authentic and delicious. When we moved to Portsmouth someone told us we needed to check this place out and I am so glad we did. We are now passing on to others they need to try Shalimar because they will love it!

The atmosphere and location of the Shalimar are fantastic. The food is authentic and it provides a very nice setting for a night out. The location is near the harbor and it makes a great place to go during the summer-time.
