Of all the dentists I've seen in 50+ years of cleanings, fillings & every other damn thing, Jeff has some of the most gentle hands I've ever had stuffed in my mouth. His pricing is reasonable, his service superior and I am so grateful he

We are new to Newmarket, and started going to this dentist office as it was the only one in town. Here's what happened:

1) On our first visit, our 4 year old son, who was already nervous, had a cleaning and at the end the receptionist said he could pick a toy out of the basket. He couldn't decide so she said he could have two. Then the dentist came by, and my son was excited and told him that he got two toys. In a sharp, non-friendly tone he told him he was only supposed to have one. A little intimidated, my son said the lady said he could take two. So, TO MY 4 YEAR OLD SON, he snaps "Well, she can just buy the toys herself next time!". My son started balling, and the dentist just walked away.

2) My wife wanted to never go back, but did because he had found a couple of cavities to fill. She was surprised that he only took about 20 minutes to do two cavities, and, unsurprisingly, they were painful and bothering her a few days later. So she scheduled a follow up appointment, and on the day of the appt. something came up so she cancelled, and on our next bill there was a cancellation fee of $30!. Now, of course they didn't tell us this when she cancelled, but when she called, we were informed it was in the fine print of the financial contract they have you sign as a new patient.

So here you have a small town, unprofessional, scheming tightwad dentist. After checking with our neighbors in the town (which we should have done first) we found he has a bad reputation in the town, and everyone else has found it worth making the drive to a dentist in a nearby town. And now, we do to!

Pros: The only dentist in Newmarket

Cons: The worst dentist I have ever experienced

.

If you live in Newmarket, the location makes this Dental office convenient. The prices are about the same as I have seen anywhere else. The cleaning was thorough and not painful.
However, they don't schedule for your next appointment when you are done. Instead, you get a postcard in the mail (that you have to address yourself) in 5 months telling you when your appointment is. That is really not a good way to make appointments for me since I would like to plan ahead.
They do have lots of parking, but it is just a local dentist.

PROS: Easy to find
CONS: Weird scheduling
