I have been taking guitar lessons now for almost 1 year. I find Karen very very patient and always words of encouragement. My progress has been slow but steady and I enjoy the class which meets once a week. The clinic was very accommodating as to my schedule which makes it much easier to make class. I would recommend the Music Clinic to anyone wanting to play any musical instrument at any level of expertise !

I have thoroughly enjoyed taking lessons at the Music Clinic. The instructors are warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. I have a pretty hectic schedule and they're always willing to work with me to make sure I can get my lesson in weekly. This has become a total family experience by where both my parents and my uncle as well as myself have been taking lessons at the Music Clinic. I highly recommend it to anyone....beginner, intermediate or advance...it doesn't matter because you'll always leave your lesson learning something new!

For a couple of years, I've been taking singing lessons weekly from Karen, the director of the music clinic. I sing in a choral group and a church choir, both of which I'm enjoying more as my ability has increased under Karen's tutelage. She is patient, observant, and creative in picking up what needs to be taught, and doing so in a way that is confidence building.
I also take private trumpet/flugel horn lessons at the Clinic from Mary, and play in the New Horizons band which she directs there. The Band rehearses twice weekly, with 5 trumpet players, 8 clarinets, sax, 3 flutes, tuba, trombone, two drums, etc. The clinic staff provides individual lessons in all these instruments. We are about 2 years old as a band, are performing in numerous settings and communities, are having fun together in rehearsals and performances, and are enjoying the impressive competence that has evolved under Mary's leadership. Along with my fellow music students, I feel profound appreciation for the Music Clinic and its creative contribution to the enjoyment and quality of life of citizens in the Lakes Region.

My seven year old son just started taking violin lessons in October.
He is learning to respect and hadle his instrument properly along with excellent music instruction. His lesson is a perfect balance of fun and discipline. He can't wait for his weekly lesson. It has been an enjoyable experience!

My son took music lessons here as a toddler (last year). It was an individual class so it was expensive but there is no other place in the area offering a music class for young children. The teacher was wonderful and really knew how to get my son to come out of his shell and begin to play music and sing. She allowed him to work at his own pace and introduced him to many differnet musical instruments. The school itself is very nice and has plenty of parking
