I would never recommend this particular gym to ANYONE. long story short, multiple employee's told me my membership EXPIRED in January. So January came and went and I got fee'd again in February. I was so confused, so I went to talk to them and they told me my membership was a lifetime membership, only my commitment to it had ended. I informed them that I was illinformed and that I shouldn't have to pay because there was a huge misunderstanding, but in the end the manager on duty that evening would in no way refund me my money back after over an hour of going back and fourth. THEN a few days later the REAL gym manager called and left me a nasty and rude voicemail. The staff is terrible, they don't stand behind their employee's, or their customers. to them, the saying "The customer is always right" is so not true! I wouldn't ever set foot in this gym again, terrible service.

The staff is very helpful, they always take time to explain the equipment to me.I have lost 62 pounds and 13 inched off my waist. The bathrooms and locker rooms are always clean.I love the 30 minute workout. If you need more parking move across the street to the old Vista market!!Then maybe you could be the only one with a indoor track. Thanks you are a great staff!!!

Overall, this gym is just ok. For $10/mo, it is a good price. But when you add in the annual dues, you are just a couple dollars off from the price of Gold's (who, in my humble opinion, has better facilities--more up to date cardio, better equipment and a whole heck of a lot more free weights). I understand the thought process behind a "judgement free zone" but honestly, people are going to judge regardless of some slogan posted all over the place. They try to make it the least serious weightlifter friendly place as possible. They will not allow gallon jugs of water on the floor for reasons they can't explain (they say trip hazard...what about all the grips left strewn about the floor?). They put a lot of money into machines but don't have a lot of free weight equipment (which are superior to machines when trying to make strength or toning gains). And the selection of cardio is so so. It would be nice to see a variation on the ellipticals (i.e. the kind where you can adjust the incline) and at least 2 stepmills. Other than that, seems clean, the front desk staff is friendly, and the locker rooms are large.

I was a long time PF customer, and it was a fantastic experience. Now, if you are looking for a lot of "extras", like juice bars, instructed classes or pools, you may be disappointed. But for a clean, varied and well-stocked supply of gym equipment it can't be beat. Most of the staff is nice when you talk to them, but they do seem to keep to themselves. For me, I prefer that. I just want to work out in peace. Also, the hours are great, too. Work 2nd or 3rd shift? You can still find time to go, as they are open 24 hours during the week. The locker rooms are large and clean, with plenty of lockers and showers.

I subtracted a star only for two gripes: Sometimes, the exercise machines would break down and it would take a long time for them to be repaired. On quiet days, this wasn't a problem, but during busy times it meant longer waits. The second gripe is with the TVs. They have about 12 set up, and you can't change their channels, which is fine except that on 8 of the 12, only sports or dry news shows play. I just wish they had had more variety in what to watch while you work out.

But that's it, really. All in all, PF is great. Highly recommended.

I LOVE Planet Fitness. It was my first time joining a gym, and I HAVE to say that what a great experience! They offer free tanning, a clean place to workout. The price is EXTREMELY reasonable as well. I pay just 10.00 a month! They are open most days 24 hours, and I mainly go at night. Night time there is barely anyone there... so it is a comfy atmosphere.

I have been working out at the PF on McGregor for over a year. They have great facilities, everyone keeps the club clean and the people are great. The employees could be a bit more helpful sometimes, but the members more than make up for it. Plus, you absolutely cannot beat the price. The only wish I have is for them to be 24 hours all the time. If you join the black membership, it allows you to bring a guest, to get free tanning and money off the water. It is a good deal!
