This is the only place in portsmouth you can find authentic asian spices. Its small, but I am still glad we have one. THe owners are very nice. There is this middle age lady there who looks pissed all the time and kind rude, so I dont go there as much. But all the guys working there are very very nice and helpful. Definitely go there for all my asian ingredient. Prices are decent too.

I've gone here to pick up some items for cooking. I liked the peanut sauce and the service was friendly. Prices were reasonable

Lots of great oriental stuff jammed into this tiny store. Much better prices on items like tofu, soy sauces, peanut oil, etc., that you find in a regular market like Shaw's or Market Basket. But you'll also find good selection of Asian rice noodles (fresh and dry), faux-meats/seitan, scallion pancakes, spring rolls, vegetarian oyster sauce, mirin, and many other cooking sauces and seasonings/spices. Also fresh produce like Chinese eggplant, cilantro, Chinese string beans, etc. Even a giftware selection with distinctively beautiful (and inexpensive) plates, bowls, Saki glasses, etc. - Pleasant staff, though not all seem to have a strong command of English language.

Nice oriental market with anything you can imagine. Prices are very reasonable the staff is knowledgeable. There's not a lot of parking, but worth it to check out this market.
