About three months ago, I made the decision to change my oil service deliveries to Fred Fuller oil. Several of my neighbors have Fuller and after having check the prices at the time, I discovered I might save a little money. I had been with my previous delivery service for approx. 15 years and just became accustomed to their excellent delivery service and respect for their customers. Needless to say, my only motive was to save a little, being in an economy where the value of the dollar is always diminishing.
Last Thursday I contacted Fuller for an oil delivery, after having previously received two deliveries this season. I was told that because of the Christmas holidays, they were a bit behind and had to schedule me for the following Monday. I had noticed that my tank was less than full at the time but thought if I were careful enough I might stretch it before running out of oil. Sunday evening I shut the furnace off for fear that I would run completely out of oil. My household became exceptionally cold as the temps were only in the twenties outside, however, I thought that once my delivery of oil arrived, I would be OK.
It was now Monday, around 12:00pm and I called Fuller to see when they would deliver as my wife and I were beginning to get very cold. I live in the city of Manchester and was hoping that by noontime I would get my oil. The lady on the phone said that we were still scheduled for that day and often they make deliveries up until 8:00 or 9:00 in the evening. At 12:30am, I contacted Fuller and noted that the delivery truck had not arrived. They said they would leave a note for the delivery supervisor the next morning.
Tuesday morning. My body is numb from the cold. Having had no call from Fuller to let me know the status, I decided to call them at 11:30am. I got hold of a lady who said she would contact the dispatcher after telling her my delivery is already overdue and need to get oil in my tank. About ten minutes later she said Oh Im so glad you called.. but unfortunately we cant guarantee a delivery for today. I asked when we would get it as that Wednesday was New Years day. She said maybe Thursday. Nothing was provided in the way of an apology of any sorts. I contacted my previous oil delivery service and received immediate re-activation and a commitment to service our needs. I then contacted Fuller back and cancelled my order. One word was all she said OK. Not that they were sorry or anything like that for putting us in this predicament. I will never recommend Fuller oil to anyone. If anything, I will recommend my dealership that I returned to. The people at Fuller are very insensitive over the phone, dont keep their promised scheduled delivery date, dont call back if theres a problem and appear to be really disorganized. If youre in the market of searching for a reliable oil service provider, take some good advice and dont go with Fuller. Youll find out as we did that good, reliable, professional service is worth a few cents more than being left in the cold.

I called this morning looking for a oil refill as I had run out. I was surprised to have someone human pickup the phone. Everyone was very helpful. I even called back to see if I could get an estimate on what time the delivery would arrive. The woman that picked up (3 rings) didn't know, put me hold and came back and told she would have the driver call back. Within 5 minutes to my surprise the driver called me back with an estimated time. He was here 20 minutes early. By the way the initial call for the order was 9 AM. The delivery showed up at 12:40 PM, That's what I call service!

Fred Fuller is my oil company!

Service with a smile even over the phone.

Fred Fuller Oils customer service and assistance we have received is outstanding. Recently we ran into money challenges and they were more than accommodating to do what was needed to help us get through. A service far greater than the average company in the industry, thank you for that act of world class service. We look forward to the continued use of Fullers service.

Hands down this company is classless. Claiming that the customer service is rude would be a compliment; which they don't deserve. In addition to the customer service issues there is a manager by the name of Dave, there was a time that I got transferred to him by mistake and he was by far the most ignorant unprofessional person I have ever dealt with to date. Needless to say I would recommend refraining from using Fred Fuller unless absolutely necessary, as there is never a reason to be rude or insensitive to a customer.

First off a friend has cancelled because of poor service as well, now I have experienced it first hand. But I'm the "first to complain" according to the older secretary at Fuller's. Furnace was cleaned quickly-great, but heat zone was left open, caught thermostat at about 80- when we leave our upstairs heat off during daytime. Waste of oil all day and could've killed our bunny and hamsters if hubby didn't fix it, guy left screw driver holding zone open- accidently- fine. called manager to make aware. said ok what do you want me to do? no apoplogy-fantastic! now, I may be paranoid but last delivery caught driver peering through back door windows- and now recently same driver #269 opened my main door (which I won't accidently leave unlocked again) This has never happened and he shut the door on the slip. use the door knob, or screen door or mailbox, but opening the main door to my home -creepy. Good thing we have a rottweiller! while peeping this time must have seen 1 dog crated, so must not have realized we have a big crazy dog roaming free. Don't have a clue why he would open my door unless he's creepy like I thought when saw him peeping thru month before. This time we were out..complained, but manager Randy won't call back!!! Told them dog could've hurt the driver, they don't care, not to mention just plain creepy! So I have cancelled, but feel others should be aware of creepy person trying to possibly enter home and extremely poor customer service.

We were with FF for over twelve years. Oil & Repairs 100%. NEVER ONCE A LATE PAYMENT FROM US.
I placed an order"as usual ". It was not delivered as promised.
When I phoned their Office, I was given no excuse, We didn't even rate an Excuse from them. I did not matter to the person on the phone. She gave me a new delivery date three days out.
It was summer. My tank was below 1/8. I use Oil for my hot water.
Fuller did not care.
I hung up the phone on them, Minutes later one of their employees phoned me back.
Very Rude. No excuse on to why I did not get my delivery as Promised. Again. I did not matter to them.matteredtererd is that they wanted to know if I still wanted a delivery? I asked her to close out my Account.
Fuller doesn't care about having a Loyal Customer Base. They live on a day to day basis. You the customer mean NOTHING. Look for your best price online, there is not need to be loyal to them.

I have used Fred Fuller Oil for oil delivery and furnace service since buying my house in 2000 and have NEVER been disappointed in their service or their charges. When I was in the market to have a hot water tank added to my current furnace, I obtained two estimates, one from them and one from one of their competitors. I was amazed to find that Fullers' price was more than 50% cheaper. What a pleasant surprise from a company that I was already impressed with. I highly recommend them.

I find their customer service department, at least in the Hudson office, to be rude. I have called on two occassions to figure out what I had for oil in reserve and both times I was greeted with a woman that was arrogant. When I apologized for getting her at a bad time she lightened up. The second time was to state that I got a bill, paid it within 10 days and was not sure why they gave me a credit for the almost $600.00 to use at a later date instead of applying to the bill. I would not mind but when I paid the bill THEY supplied me it was for $2.599 per gallon. Their using that as a credit and taking off of my reserve would have meant I would now be able to buy the oil for $3.00+ Long story but when I tried to explain the woman was downright rude and arguemnetative. She told me it was pretty much my fault for them not applying the $594 toward the bill and I should have called. I asked why I would call if I sent them back the bill and included the EXACT amount of the bill then why would I assume they would take off my reserve of gallons for the year and apply a credit to buy oil at a higher price. She finally got it. They sent a bill and should not have done that. She said I can fix it really rudely. Then she said DONE. Again nasty as all heck. I said, do you understand where I am coming from? I am being asked to buy oil for $.40 more a gallon. She saud YUP and then pretty much hung up. I am now in the process of looking for another oil company for my next falls prebuy

I have used this company for almost one year since I moved to Derry. I just discoverd this evening I was out of oil and called to have a delivery. A rude, unhelpful accociate answered the phone. I explained I would have no heat or hot water. A $125 fee would be charged if they come out tonight in which they would only deliver 10 gallons, I unforttunatly could not afford this fee so, I asked if I could be placed first on the list for tomorrow. Well, wouldn't you know, the drivers make their own schedules so he will get here when he feels like. I would definatley go to another company because the customer service is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, unfortunatly I am on a budget and this is the only company around that will deliver a 100 gallon minimum. I hate to give my business to them but I have no other choice.

I have used Fred Fuller for a number of years and have been satisfied. Recently my oil heater would not stay on. The service rep (who was very nice) came out promptly and fixed the problem (blew through a tube). He was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The charge was $89. I was told after receiving the invoice this was a minimum charge (they do not disclose this when you call in and request service). I do not mind paying for service, including a profit...however this charge appears abusive. The minimum charge is equal to one hour and Bill Fuller stated I could have kept him on site for the full hour and had him do a maintenance checkup. I think a minimum charge of $50 for calls completed in a few minutes with no parts would be a better policy or at least inform customers when they call in of the minimum. Next time I will keep them working for the full hour.

I have worked with Fred Fuller for about 7 years now. Have been slowing building an addition to my house. They have been extremely helpful reasonably priced and extremely knowledgeable with the equipment. I reccommentd them to any new neighbor or friend.

During two incidents over 7 years, service department arrived withing the hour, sharp courteous. I was up and running in a heartbeat and did not get tagged with some wild bill.

I had moved here and had a bad dealing with a different oil company, but my neighbor uses this company so I agreed to give them a try. To my surprise, they have met all my expectations. I was having a problem with the furnace shutting off which left us with no hot water. They sent someone out immediately (within the hour) and they were able to fix the problem within one hour, and they only charged my $75. Boy was I relieved to have that problem fixed. They did recommend getting a cleaning every year which I did not know and the previous owners didn't disclose. They even bill you if you can't pay right then and there and set you up on a payment plan, which I love. Very professional people and business.
