Great small town barber shop. Definitely a man's place to go for a haircut. Friendly chatter about fishing, sports, local politics & history. Haircuts are excellent, especially from Mike! Reasonably priced compared to a "hair salon".

I am writing this review in disgust.I visited this establishment because I used to get it done here 20 years ago here. I asked the Barber if he could cut a flattop. Reasonable question at a barber shop. I was asked 'Marine style?'. I said yes, low and flat on the top. I was talking to the barber about my visit to the area, which was to welcome back my sister from Iraq. He proceeded his cutting (which I later determined to be a hack job). I have had many cuts over my life and it has been done many ways so I did not question his ways, he was a Barber and knows what he is doing, right? At the end of the cut, the front of my hair appeared to be flat with the rest. I paid the 15 bucks and a 2 dollar tip (which is more than I pay for a great cut here in Florida). Later on, after washing my hair and looking at it in the mirror, I saw that it was miscut badly. Way to low to the right, did not blend worth a crap, I look like a lopsided Monk with hair. I called this morning and after speaking with the barber, come to find he is also the owner and all I got was a "Humph, I must of had a bad day" from him. No sincere apology, nothing. Even better, he doesn't remember the haircut from 4 days ago. I was the only one in the shop and it was late in the day. All I can say is don't get a flat top here, at least not from the owner, he really couldn't care less if he screws you up. Check out the pictures also. Got to wear a hat for 3 weeks, so then a real barber can make it right.

Great staff, very friendly and keeps you laughing. Good hometown barber shop, they are reasonably priced too. They get you in and out in no time, they have 3 chairs going at the same time. Really good!!!
