I cannot comment about their storefront. But I must echo the first respondent who had a poor service experience.

our GE oven was not working. we knew the problem. we initially paid Allmake a diagnostic fee of 65+ tax. for this they confirmed our diagnosis. as is customary, the diagnostic fee can be applied to the repair. they promised to have someone come out with the part 2 days later. I was someone annoyed at the price he quoted, replacing a jamb switch is relatively simple but he claimed it was a 2 hour, 2 person job. he also wanted to mark up the part to triple the price quoted on the internet. I compained and he gave me a $20 discount on the part, still a moderate markup over the quoted price. 2 days later, they didnt have the part. they told us it might be the following day (friday), then it slipped to monday, then the tuesday before thanksgiving. still no part. I called the office, spoke once again Henry who is apparently the owner. I berated him mildly for this incompetence and poor communication. he told me "I dont need your grief, get someone else to fix your oven." He then hung up on me

I was able to quickly obtain the part directly from GE. I have someone else lined up to fix it. But I felt I needed to give Allmake a chance to either execute the repair or refund my diagnostic fee. I called Henry back a couple of days later and he hung up on me again. So it looks like I will be taking Allmake to small claims court

Unfortunately, in the world of appliance repair it is hit or miss. But better to pay a premium rate and use the GE repair people

My experiences have been very mixed. Sure, they're pleasant on the phone and they seem to care, but good feelings don't translate into good service. Twice, I needed to make multiple frantic calls to find out where the promised service person was and I was reassured that "he was coming". True, but at least 2 hours late, and once, he never showed at all. There was a mix-up with a new[quite pricey] refrigerator I ordered- I had the correct model#, so at least the driver never had to wrestle it off the truck, since it was the wrong item. Again, lots of soothing words from AllMake about correcting the problem, and here it is, 2 days later, not even the courtesy of a phone call to let me know what's going on and when I can get my[correct] refrigerator. It's no fun unloading a fridge-even less fun dealing with this company.

I needed my Bosch washer repaired. Allmake's service staff came and fixed the washer. The washer had to be taken completely apart. After they left the washer still was not right. It seemed loose like a bolt was missing. I called; they came back. But the washer still was making excessive noise. I called and this morning they came back and found that a bolt needed to be tightened. Each time Allmake was cordial on the phone, apologetic (but these things do happen) and more than willing to come back to make things right. I applaud Allmake for their high service standard and great customer service. They deserve their good reputation. (And their repair team was friendly and professional!)

This is a great appliance center. They have everything the bigger name stores have but you get much better customer service. The prices are better as well. They also have discounts for when you buy multiple items at once.

When you are purchasing that new home appliance, this store is a must. The staff is helpful, friendly and truly cares about your needs. When they say you delivery is coming a 3pm Friday...it's there 3pm Friday.
