Went on a Friday night, and had to wait for a an hour and 15 minutes!!! First time the waiter said 45 min. The he said another 15... When we came back he said the table is not ready still!!! The staff was rude. I ate there before and the food is good. But its just not worth the wait and the rudeness. There are many other grate places is Hoboken like Qdoba, Baja or El Barrio Burritos.

Pros: food

Cons: service

The food here is extremely good, I just wish they would have chosen a better place to put it. The parking is horrendous so if you can get someone to go with you and either drive or run in to get the food, you will not have a problem. I would eat here all the time if I could just find parking.

Great place for authentic Mexican cuisine. BYOB with a great wine store right across the street. Fresh guacamole made right at your table. Outdoor seating in the warmer months.

Pros: BYOB

Cons: Very small space

Excellent food (to DIE for Sangrias!) coupled with a cozy ambiance all priced very well - few things, however. As a table of 3 can easily share two entrees and an appetizer, be prepared to pay a sharing charge. That's understandable - but that should also be inclusive of unlimited fajita wraps! We only got 3 and were charged $1 for any additional wraps ordered. It's not about the $1, but the principle! I'll definitely be back again though!!!

Charritos is very tiny, probably only about 8 tables (and they don't take reservations). They boast making fresh guac at your table, but it's on the bland side. The burritos are just okay, not very flavorful and they are nearly $13! Unfortunately, Qdoba isn't very far away and their burritos are better tasting and half the price. It's BYOB and they can make sangria for you.

PROS: Easy walk from the path, out door seating avail.
CONS: Pricey and on the bland side

I go to Charrito's at least twice a month - you can always count on the awesome Mexican food and sangria (bring your own wine). My favorite is the Rey Burro but the fajitas and dou de enchiladas are also delicious. I've brought many out of town guests here and everyone loves it.

Cheap food and plenty of it!! Bring beer or wine and not liquor because to be honest the magaritas they make are pretty poor.

Bring your own bottle of tequila and they'll make you a pitcher of margaritas...only problem is that our pitcher mysteriously had NONE of the tequila we bought in there. My boyfriend and I ate there this weekend and, from that one pitcher, each got about 4 large margaritas. I'm not much of a drinker, and after 2 large margaritas didn't feel a thing. Neither did he. They couldn't have put any of our tequila in there, so who knows where it ended up...beware...

The food is way overpriced, especially for a Mexican place. We also got charged for the chips and salsa they brought out before our food came (we never asked for them, but assumed they were free). What a ripoff. We will never go here again.
