Talla Skin Care & Day Spa

I too have to say that I was snookered into believing that I was getting electrolosis at this spa. I've had electrolosis before and all I needed was one treatment. At Talla I went twice for hair removal and it kept regrowing. This shop does not do electrolosis but rather expensive tweezing!

In my opinion the waxing I got at Talla was 110% better than another Cranford Salon, "It's All About Me". With Talla, I had no burns, but at "It's all about me", I had bad burns which were very painful. I'll be going back to Talla from now on. The woman at Talla, in my opinion, clearly has more years of experience.

It souns like the last comment "I love this place" is either a co-worker or the owner. The staff is very rude and the services they offer is not worth the prices they charge

I have been coming to Talla skin Care and Day spa for 5 years now. I come on a regular basis for facials, waxing and massages; and I have to say, I found my comfort zone. The service could not be better. They make me feel at home. They always know what is best for my skin, I also buy all my facial products from them. I get my eyebrows done there too, and they look fabulous. I always go for the Deep tissue massage, after which any tension and soreness in my muscles is gone. Overall they are a rather small place, but I prefer quality over quantity. Tallas personnel are very experienced and skillful. I always feel like I got my moneys worth, not to mention that their prices are very reasonable. This is a great place to relax!

Try Its All about Me in Cranford also. I now go there for my bikini waxing and I can't tell you how much better they are. I no longer break into sweats and tremble with pain! They are a full service spa like Talla only with quieter massage rooms (no one wants to hear cars driving by when they have just paid over $100 for a hot stone massage) and a MUCH friendlier staff! hope this helps some people out...my Talla days are OVER

I just came back from having a facial at this spa. Let me tell you, that the service there is very poor. When I called up, I was told that I needed the pricier facial, but that it was on sale on Wednesdays. I told the owner, (who also answered the phone), that I was partially paying for it by gift certificate. After my service was done, I went to pay, thinking that the facial would be the $55.00 special price. When it was rung up, I was informed that I owed the everyday price, because I was paying for it be a gift certificate, and that they're null and viod with the special prices. I've personally never heard of such a thing, since a gift certificate is treated normally the same as money. I would personally never recommend this spa to anyone.
Bu the way, the facial was OK, but I've given myself better and less painful one's at home.

I am so glad I read Karen D's review. I had bought my daughter 2 gift certificate's in 2001 for a facial and massage. She misplaced them, a year later she found them. When I called them to explain, in essence what I was told was, they expired and it was to bad. They wouldn't even try to work with me. Believing people deserve a second chance I was thinking of going myself. I am so thankful I read the review! I still have the certificates, $80.00 given to them and wasted!!! I'll look at the reviews for somewhere else.

Stay away at all costs. Rude staff. they overcharged me and would not refund the money. My skin was burned by their facial for days. They are lacking in customer service skills.

This is a small spa. I do not recommend it. Not because it's small, but because they cut corners. They advertise that they do "electrolosis". Electolosis is permanent hair removal, what they use is the electric tweezer, which is not. So, If you want to pay $10 per 10 minutes to have to keep going back, go ahead! If you want REAL electrolosis, I advise finding someone who does real electrolosis!
