1 Stars: VERY BAD MANAGEMENT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE (by Tracy B.)

Harold's New York Deli Rstrnt has always been one of my favorite places to go for Matzoh ball soup and the giant sandwiches. The last time I went there I had the worst experience and will never go back and I hope anyone who reads this review will abstain as well. I was out with my mom on the way to a new store at the Rockaway mall. I decided, as a treat, to take my mom for a bowl of soup. All goes well until the bill arrives. The total was $29.80. The soup was 14.00 which I know, as I have had it several times in my life, but I was charged 6.95 EACH for the "free" pickle bar. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that soup isn't food and to "qualify" for the free pickles you have to order a sandwich. As previously indicated, I have had this same meal before without incident. Anyway, the manager turns out to be the owner and he would rather not have me as a customer than give me a free pickle. C'est la vie.

3 Stars: Huge portions (by Ann m.)

The portions in this deli are huge. The meat and cheese come on separate plates with btread stacked on another. You build your own sandwich and have a lot to bring home.

4 Stars: Leftovers!! (by Kelly S.)

The protions are huge in this New York style deli. Be sure to share with a friend and you still have leftoevrs. Many people go for sandwiches but their oversized main course like garlic chicken and the desserts are great too.

4 Stars: Harold's NY Deli (by JOANNE V.)

If you like Pastrimi - go to Harold's. They are the best around. Just be careful to read the menu for serving sizes, they have huge sandwiches. Enjoy a Dr Brown soda. Remember to save room for dessert - again - get one and share it - they are yummy.

4 Stars: Sandwiches as big as your head! (by Titus S.)

The portions at Harold's are HUGE! Some of the sandwiches come in 20 oz. servings, which are menat to be shared. It's a little pricey but the portions more than make up for it. You'll be eating leftovers for days!

PROS: Pickle Bar
CONS:
