Eastern Dental Of Ewing

I love the Dentists they are very nice to patients. but the staff at the front desk need to be trained on how to interact with patients. also I do not feel there is any privacy. The person standing next to you at the appointment desk know all of your business due to lac of privacy. The Dentists get 4 stars the front desk staff get 1 star

clean office , professional staff I inquired about experience over 125 years divided by the docs there do everything did any body ever think office was busy for the last 29 years because they are good . One of the docs taught at jersey dental school for years.

The service is horrible. Wait times ridiculous and almost impossible to get an appointment for a cleaning without waiting 2 months. The cleaning brush barely hits the tooth and I had to wonder what kind of job they were doing. We were thankful to have them when we could not afford better.

We got better insurance and switched to another dentist. Both kids had 2 or 3 missed cavities. So much for the savings!

I just started going here not to long ago, when I switched Insurances, I came here from brighter dental care and must say I hate dentists and hated the ones in brighter dental care on route one, but here the nurses (sheena, Salina, etc.) and my dentist Dr. Shortz look out for my comfort and try to make me smile and a priority. I love my dentists office :)

I only switched dentists in order to have free braces. The orthodontists is slightly more pleasant then the General office. Most of the doctors are friendly, but the director often talks down to you. Some of the receptionists are friendly, some are extremely uppity and often do not know that they are uneducated. I needed a letter stating that I was scheduled for oral surgery. I was hung up on by a receptionists I believer her name was Sabrina. I called back and was then talked down to by another person. If possible I wouldn't recommend Eastern Dental in Ewing. I heard the Hamilton office is better. I am only going here because of my insurance which allows me to get almost every procedure I need done without a fee.

It takes weeks to get simple appointments - I now have to wait 4 weeks for a chipped filling to be taken care of. I can come in as an emergency patient, but then who knows what time of day they will take me. Waiting in the waiting room takes for ever as does waiting in the chair. Everything is impresonal and I feel like I am on an assembly line, being shuffled from one cube to another.

I look forward to open enrollment time with my job, so I can switch insurance and go back to my old dentist. I miss him terribly.

I recently had a lot of work done here, and the dentists and Dental Assistants are very friendly and caring. The only problem I had was the waiting time. There are 3 waiting rooms plus space in the hallway and they are always full. Don't expect to be seen for a 8:30 appointment till after 9.

PROS: Take most insurances
CONS: Waiting time

I totally agree with the previous 2-star rating. i used to go to Eastern Dental of Ewing but it took sometimes months to get an ppointment and even when you got one you wait forever to get in. Then you wait in the chair - then you wait for your fillings after the exam. Pretty much the only thing they m ake fairly easy is PAYING. Always plenty of people to take your money of course. This stinks because they actually have some pretty good dentists as dentists go. Im terrifed of the dentists but they didn't really hurt. Oh well.

I only go to this dentist because its the closest one covered by my insurance. The people there are nice but impersonal, and its very very hard to get appointments. Some dentists try to comfort you or small kids (I hate dentists) but not this place. It always smells sickly and the wait times are pretty bad. Its almost always crowded, with people spilling out from the waiting room into the hallway.

Still, for a dentist, I guess they get the job done.
