5 Stars: Multiple Ethnicity (by a SNOW WHITEY S.)

The Broadway Diner in Bayonne is AWESOME, with a staff with great personalities. Same owner as Summit. As for the SNOW WHITE STAFF There is and african american worker in the bway dinner so that talk is racist by you (like always)

3 Stars: Food was fine (by Dan S.)

Decent food. I'm sorry to say that the pancakes were actually not the best in the world. @ Mr & Mrs S, it's so noble of you to point out that snow white clientele has never bothered you or your wife- thank you for being so generous as to tolerate white people. You are definitely not racist. The servers were diverse and courteous. Don't know what a "plantation mentality" staff is, nor does the other reviewer, I would guess, but the experience overall was quite satisfactory.

4 Stars: ndsmc8485 (by Kathleen B.)

This diner is awesome. Perfect fries and gravy everytime! Only thing I have experienced occasionally is that it tends to be cold under the air conditioning vents.
Restaurant is great!

1 Stars: SUMMIT, NJ/BROADWAY DINER (by Mr. & Mrs. S.)

I must have passed this diner a dozen or so times, but couldn't wait to experience this place... I'M GLAD I DID, AND I'M JUST AS GLAD THAT IT'S OVER!!!! The staff was so diverse, while the clientele was snow white, and that's never bothered my husband and I; we just like great food. But how does one learn from their oppression? Oppress, and the staff at Broadway Diner in Summit, NJ did just that. Water without ice, forgot all the sauces and sides, while waiting on "the other" clientele with a smile and a river dance! One price on the menu, another one on the bill (unjustified). To go boxes, no bags. Completely disappointed, we quickly and quietly left. But haste makes waste... I left behind a phone case at the table, and it was stolen quicker than you can say David Copperfield!!! With class, we never balked nor barked, but what can you say about a so-called restaurant with one nasty filthy restroom, average food, and a plantation mentality staff? You can never buy, nor hire trash, and make them worthy. And even the raunchy, funky bunch in the parking lot gave the details of the history of Summit, NJ... Even if you're not born near a land field, you can still grow up to be nothing more than garbage.

5 Stars: diner (by Justin M.)

My mother and I stopped here on our way through town one day. She grew up in the little township of Chatham. This diner has mile high cake and pies that are unbelievable. There is nothing like a cheesburger and piece of cake from this place to set your heart a running.
