I purchased a Trek road bike from Ridgewood Cycle after a lot of comparison shopping. I really appreciated being able to test ride the bike before purchasing it. I felt that the staff was very helpful and responsive in helping me make a decision. Ridgewood Cycle also provides 1 year of free maintenance.

They also went above and beyond the call of duty in opening late (far later than regular business hours) on a Saturday night to make some last minute adjustments to my bicycle before a race. This is a great shop!

Located on Broad Street (rght near Smith Brothers), this shop is easy to get to. Your best bet for parking is one of the close by lots or if you get lucky one of the parking spaces with a meter out front. the place looks tiny but is bigger than you would think once you walk inside. The people here are all so knowledgeable and can answer pretty much any question you throw at them. They have a large selection all kinds of bike- all terrain, bmx, road bikes and all others. They also carry scooters and have a large selection of cycling gear. Looking for something for the smallest member of your family? Check out the trikes. The prices are not the best I have seen- but you are paying for knowledge and the fact that this place is in Ridgewood. Definitely worth checking out though.

Ridgewood, NJ hosts a lot of different stores and the Ridgewood Cycle Shop is one of the many in the area. Conveniently located across the train station, this store is actually big housing many cycling accessories and parts.

All types of bicycles can be found over here and there is definitely one for everyone no matter what your taste is like. You can even customize your own cycle to suit your needs. They have the latest equipment and technology for those serious cycling enthusiasts, the ones who dream of becoming the next Lance Armstrong competing in the Tour de France.

If you have a problem with your bicycle or even need it fixed, the repair team is top notch and will do their utmost best to fix any problems that might occur.

One of the biggest problems of this store is the location. Ridgewood is very crowded and parking is so tight that sometimes it's next to impossible trying to find any place to park your vehicle. Teh fact that it's located on the corner across from the train station means that lots of activity is going to happen just aroud that particular area. Dont be surprised if people dart in front of you when they cross the street.

But overall, this is a great place to fulfill anything you might need to make your cycling adventures even more fun.

PROS: Lots to choose from, great selections
CONS: Parking and congestion
