Calandra's Italian & French

Awesome service and products..none compare. I purchased 2 trays of cookies to drive down to Virginia with, as my friend's wedding was there, and nothing close compares to Calandra's Italian cookies. They were a huge hit, the staff was helpful to my friend ordering over the phone, they even put a huge ribbon on both trays and they traveled in my car perfectly. Seperate line for the bread works great too. Even their restaurant is great!

I'm not sure which of Calandra's competitors wrote the two preceededing negative reviews, but as you can read from the others, Calandra's produces a great product. The proof is easily seen in the number of customers served each day. My other comment is in regard to how the customer is treated. I had just one time the experience of buying a box of clairs that were not excellent. When I returned later in the day, the store manager (owner?) not only replaced my purchase - he insisted that I choose a box full of pastries in addition to the clairs. I will always be a Calandra's customer because I know that they care about me!

Absolutely day old if not longer. Not just one product but multiples, brown n white cookie, whole weat loaf, and more.... Very unfriendly help, long line, and OUTRAGEOUS PRICES!!!!

Three times they had screwed with my orders. Management was very unprofessional and have poor communication amongst themselves. Best believe they have lost a customer. Overall it's not that great as people make out to be.

This bakery has 3 locations. This one, Newark and the newest in Caldwell. They have a huge selection of cakes and pastries including many Italian pastries. They also sell bread that is baked throughout the day. Their prices are excellent and they always have a lot of people working so you never have a long wait. This is my favorite bakery in Northern NJ.

It wasn't exactly around the corner from us, but I faithfully made the trip there at least once a week. Why? Because it is sooooooo worth it! Their desserts are truly amazing, the breads are perfect! We had them do our wedding cake and it was *almost* the best part of our wedding day!

Calandra's has awesome bread! I make special trips to Calandras on the holidays for their bread. I am certainly not the only one that loves it...the lines are out the door its that good. The bakery section is great too...the italian cookies and cakes are great! Definitely recommend Calandra's!

I wish it was closer- I always stop when I am in the area! Best Mocha cake, best brownies, best bread, best pepperoni bread, I could go on and on and on. I love this place!
