While I agree with the other reviews that this store is pricey, I think you get what you pay for in quality. I have two boys, so I don't know about the girls' clothes. I do like the selection of clothes for the boys and found the staff to be very helpful and NOT rude at all. If you want to pay less, then go to the Carter's a few doors down and get what you pay for. I'm not saying Carter's is bad, as I shop there too, I'm just saying you're going to pay more for more unique clothing of better quality.

I have had a gift certificate in my purse for this store since my daughter was born 16 months ago. I have probably stopped in every 2 months for the last year looking for something to purchase with the certificate. 1) I was followed through the store every time by at least one sales associate who just kept injecting commentary every time I looked at something. 2) The price?!?!?!?!? Who would actually spend $125 on a girls knit dress size 6-12 months? And then $35 for the matching tights? Earlier today I finally used the certificate. I ended up purchasing a pair of slipper boots and a pair of socks. All said and done, I owed them $0.75 after handing over my $50 certificate. Now don't get me wrong, some of the pieces are adorable, but the price and the service will not keep me going back!

The clothes are expensive and ridiculous. The buyers taste is straight out of white trash magazine with a few very nice pieces snuck in. They only buy a few items in a few sizes so the nice things sell and the sales ladies push the crap on you by telling you it the latest. A sexy four year old outfit is inappropriate at any price. While their newborn things truly are great with a price-tag to match, an $80 onesie with a shelf life of three months is over the top. I used to buy all my son's good clothes there and I spent thousands but the new owner and staff ruined the store. I also do not like they way they look down on me when I do not where a big diamond into the store to stop.

I used to shop at Playing Field years ago. Selection was much better then. They have outrageously priced clothing now. They sell toys also. Limited selection.

This little boutique is just OK. They are limited on their inventory. And what they do have to sell, is astronomical in price. You can find many of the same brands and items in other stores, and especially on ebay for a fraction of the price.

The playing field is such a darling store but make sure you bring lots of money! The pricing is outrageous! I went in to find a cute dress for my daughter when she was just 6 months and when i saw a price tag of $125.00 I nearly died! While the outfits are beautiful you have to be a rich to afford to shop here! they have baby toys here as well buta also with overpriced price tags! I personally couldn't see paying $125 for a dress she probably wouldn't fit into in 2 months! This store belongs in Beverly Hills, CA not Marlton
