Extremely disappointed with Lee French Nails in Little Falls, NJ. I don't recommend going there. I usually get a French manicure. The woman Julie, did a horrible job. First she used a dirty tool that had dark marks on it to push back my cuticle. She did not have the tools sterilized. The place I usually go to has a package of tools that are sterilized and sealed. This didn't push back my cuticle and did not give a clean manicured look to my nails. Also she did not use a white paint nail polish to paint the white line, instead she used an off white nail polish by Essie. She kept telling me my nails needed a hardner and said it was an extra $1. She also clipped off instead of buffing the ends that had rough edges. She also left paint residue on the skin under my nails. horrible, horrible. I could have done a better job myself. Ugh!

These ladies work very hard, if things get lost in translation it happens. Its clean, they are flexible and like all small business.
Pay alot to be where they are in NJ. Dont like it try the place on the other corner and see how that works for you!

I have been going for years without issue. I also own a small business and you cant keep everyone happy.

Its North Jersey no shortage of nail salons but finding a good clean reliable salon is not easy.
Maria also gives a super chair massage!

I have never been completely insulted in my life!
I have been a faithful and loyal customer for nearly 2yrs. I have spent from $70-$140 a month on their services and thats including tip. I have been so loyal there that everyone in salon knows who I am and always greets me with great service.

The last 2 visits, I have encountered some unfriendly service by who i believe can either be the owner's sister or some kind of relative. After a busy long day at work, I decided to get my manicure and pedicure before heading to the dentist. I arrived at the salon around 6:15pm. After finishing my pedi and mani she told me "Next time I must tip her if I come here."

As she walked me to the nail dryer....I was shocked on what I thought was inappropriate. I asked her to repeat herself and she did. She stated that I didn't tip her and continued to raise her voice. She conitues to say that I don't ever tip her or any of the ladies in the salon. I was completely insulted and asked her to call the owner. Joyce came along and so did she. As i was explaining to her what was going on and how I was feeling, the woman was calling me a LIAR! The young ladies who usually take care of me were yelling and nodding their heads saying that I do tip and said she comes here all the time. I honeslty felt that she was discriminating me because I am probably the only spanish woman that goes to their salon.
I dont know about you but I only tip if I get good service. I do not need tip if they are rude. Joyce, the owner, was embarrassed but at the same time was not sympathetic on the situation towards me. On top of that, they didnt want me to leave the salon. Joyce stood in my way so that I do not leave the salon. She knew who I was and she definitely knew what I would cost her.

This has been their biggest mistake.......Me and my 3 sisters will take our business elsewhere!
Never will I step foot in this salon again. Their are other businesses out there and I only choose to come there because it was close to home. I will make sure all the referrals who I have sent to Lee's stop going as well, since this is how they treat their customers. It takes only one bad experience to ruin everything.

Joyce, good luck to you and I hope this is a learnign experience for you. Treat all your customers the same, because what goes around comes back around!

I have also posted this poor experience on Facebook and Twitter. Oh and another thing, you might want to get rid of your sister, Julie. She is the reason why i am not coming back!

I have been going to Lee French Nails for 2 years for pedicures. I developed Fungus and thought it was something other then the salon. I started doing the pedicures myself at home.

I went for LCN on fingernails (still too nervous for pedicure, it hurt). I went back twice in a week to let them know the nails were hurting and pressured as well as too lumpy. They filed it down. I told them it was lifting (that was the 3rd visit). Finally I went for the fill in and asked them to take one LCN completely off. After 20+ years of sculptured and acrylic nails, I knew something was wrong. FUNGUS. On the Nails. 8 out of 10. She wanted to talk me into doing the fill ins and getting medication to put on it. HELLOO???? I demanded she remove them all to see how many more nails.

One of the pedicure ladies said a few other clients came in within the week complaining about fungus from LCN.

For those of you saying it is the cleanest salon....the tools used aren't. I have never had Fungus, the Dr. said the tools had to be piled with bacteria to have it so bad in a short time.

So good luck to you when going there. The owner refunded my money, but I won't go back. Cleanliness should be consistent. Also, one shouldn't have to get upset in order to get a refund, they initially wanted to charge me for removing the LCN.

Salon also does not carry anything for Fungus. If you are giving Fungus to clients you should at least have something to put on the nail for them.

Last note, as I left highly upset. The woman that took off the LCN was using the same tools on another woman that sat to get her nails done. Unbelievable. I had to update the woman who apparently did not hear the ruckus.

Cleanest nail salon I've ever been to! Also best customer service and attention to detail. Great prices for the quality of service they give. There are hundreds of nail salons walking distance from my house but I choose to drive 20 minutes to go to Lee's.

This nail salon is great. They provide a spa-like atmosphere and it's very clean. I love getting a french pedicure here because the women truly are talented and they do a great job. It's kind of far from my house, which is why I don't go very often... however, I try to make it there whenever I have a special occasion and really care about how my nails look.

I love going to Lee's. Their salon is very neat and clean. I always love when I get my nails done there. They always do a nice job when they wax my eyebrows. Out of the 2,300 nail salons in Little Falls, this one is my favorite.
