...you will have a very fun, yet relaxing and memorable time.

This campground cares about family. It cares a lot and this is because it's family owned and operated. On any given day you will find Mrs. Kymer manning the cash register in the store (which, by the way, reminds me of a lil' ole country store). You will find one or two of her three daughters standing near-by checking people in and making food orders. Maybe they are getting a can of night-crawlers out of the fridge or re-stocking the shelves with more toilet paper. The other Kymer girl may be out at the pool working as the Lifeguard. You can first hear and then see old Mr. Kymer putting around on a large farm tractor; doing whatever it is that he does.

That was just a fraction of the things you can see here that relate this establishment to family. There are dances at least two nights a month, run by a DJ. They are just perfect for kids of all ages, and I mean ALL AGES. From the bunny hop to the hokey pokey, the little ones will really get a kick out of it. Then on to the electric slide and the Macarana (can't spell it, never could). Then they all dance the Y-M-C-A and swing and sway to Meatloaf's Dashboard Light, which is usually ALWAYS the last song they play at about 10pm, right before "quiet time".

I don't work there and I have no stake in ownership or anything to gain by writing this review. What is to be gained has already been had, having grown up here every summer as a kid; it's priceless, the memories and experiences, my first kiss and numerous accounts of "summer love", bonding and quality time with both of my parents. And now I get to share this with my own daughter, who I swear says this is her favorite place next to Disney World.

Well maintained, private, secluded campground. Wonderful atmosphere for the get away you need. The staff are nice and the location out of the way, but you will enjoy your stay.
