Not reliable for large parties or reservations

by H G.

Although I am usually pleased with this restaurant, I recently had a frustrating visit. I made a reservation for a large party for dinner to celebrate a birthday. We waited an hour after arriving to be seated and were told that another party was still seated in our reserved section. It was very disappointing since it was for a friend's birthday. When initially making the reservations, I had difficulty on the phone, was on hold for an extended period, and had to call a couple of times to actually get the reservation. I would not recommend visiting this restaurant with large parties or for special occasions, or relying on reservations. The only saving grace was the food, especially the snickers cheesecake...

Food was good, but...........

by Denise G.

Cheesecake Factory is one of my favorite places to dine since 2005 and I have turned many people on to the restaurant. I dined on 5/3/09, and forgot my very expensive eyeglasses on the table. I called back and I spoke to 5 people, before talking to a manager named, Shaquille. He took my name and number, promising to call if something came up. I feel that no one tried to help or seemed interested in helping me once the bill was paid and my waiter, Leo got his 25% tip. Talk about leaving a bad taste in your mouth. Always a yummy experience

by Helen K. | insider Insider | Rank: 22,871

So many choices... how do you choose what to eat from a menu that comes in the form of a thick spiral bound book? I've tried something new everytime I've visited and have been satisfied every time. Their pasta dishes are superb and they make mean crab cake. Don't forget to leave room for dessert... you can't go to the Cheesecake Factory and not have a slice of cheesecake. They have many other desserts if cheesecake is not your thing.

Cheesecake!!!!!!!!!

by joanne s. | insider Insider | Rank: 22,403

I went to this Cheesecake Factory the day after it opened for lunch. It was my first time and I've heard so many great things about Cheesecake Factory. I was surprised to find such a large food selection! I suggest the buffalo chicken crispers as an appetizer! Their Pad Thai is also good (though if you're expecting something close to real Thai food, I wouldn't get it). My favorite cheesecake - the brownie fudge sundae cheesecake (I think that's what it's called). SOOOOO good!

If you want to go on a Saturday or Friday night, good luck getting a seat as it will take you over 2 hours some times. I suggest Sunday Brunch - they have GREAT omelets!! And then finish off the meal with some cheesecake! yummmm

Such awesome food!

by Stephannie G. | insider Insider | Rank: 23,148

I can always count on Cheescake for their awesome menu. I've gone their several times, and everything I've ordered has been more than satisfactory. They also have the best dessert menu and cocktails. It's a great place to hang out with friends, or to go on a date. But be prepared to wait for a table, especially during the evenings and on weekends. The prices are reasonable considering the awesome food that is served.

by edwin h. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,479

the cheesecake factory is a great place for cheesecake. they offer all different kinds to choose from and its more of a restuarant then just cheese cake. they offer different selections of meats and its not expensive for the quality you get. the price is great and the desserts are amazing also.

Gotta love cheesecake

by Cindy M. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 6,471

This is my absolutely favorite restaurant. They have yummy food, huge portions and the best deserts and great drinks. What else could you ask for? The only drawback is that it is so popular that you could easily wait in line for at least an hour. So don't go there starving!

PROS: Food, Atmosphere, Portions
CONS: The Wait

Worth the Wait

by Kim G. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 11,598

The wait is always long and there's never anywhere to sit while you're waiting, but in the end it's worth it. The service is almost always great, and the food will never disappoint. They have a variety of foods and everything I've had has been very good. They also have every kind of cheesecake you could think of and it's all delicious.

But be ready to wait!! The only thing that is bad with tis place is the line! I have waited over an hour both times I've been here. The food was good and I would recommend giving it a try. I haven't tried the cheesecake.. I hear it is wonderful!

LOVE IT!

by Marissa M. | insider Insider | Rank: 22,972

We absolutely LOVE the cheesecake factory! AWESOME FOOD! beautiful atmosphere! A few pointers: be prepared to WAIT WAIT WAIT. We've waited for up to 2 1/2 hours for this place! However, it IS located in the mall, so you can just walk around for a bit. Also, the portions are GIANT. Be prepared to either share or take home LOTS of leftovers. I highly recommend the Chino-Latino Steak and the Farfalle Pasta w/Pancetta. The food is reasonably-priced (on the higher end of reasonable, though!) - we usually spend about $60 for two (appetizer, dinner, drinks, and 2 slices of specialty cheesecake to go) which is pretty good considering the mountinous portions they serve.
If you haven't already, definitely TRY IT!

PROS: Marvelous food; great servers; aesthetic atmosphere
CONS: looooooooooooooooooooooong wait

Awesome Cheesecake!!

by Lisa S. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 8,881

I have gone here for dinner a few times and have just gone there for cheesecake. All I have to say is you can't go wrong when the list of cheesecakes available is as long as the one here. If you don't have time to wait in the line to be seated, just go to the counter and order some cheesecake to go.

PROS: Friendly wait staff & great food
CONS: LONG wait

They Have It All! More than just dessert....

by Renee B. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 3,095

Besides having great cheesecake, they have a HUGE menu with lots of things to choose from. There is something for everyone! The lunch sized salads are more than enough for a dinner. The pastas are great, as well as their fish. The appetizers are HUGE! My favorite is the CHicken Salad Sandwich - great bread! The place is great to bring a baby that might get loud because the cielings are so high no one hears it. There is enough room for 2 car seats and 2 adults in a booth. WHile there is often a long wait, if you go off peak time, you can get seated in no time. There is a long wait for your food to come out too, so don't go if you're in a rush! Parking can be a pain too because it's in a mall.

PROS: Lots to choose from- something for everyone!
CONS: Long wait
