My wife and I began shopping for our first childs furniture early on in her pregnancy. After browsing through several retailers, we stumbled upon Crib Outlet on Route 22 in Union. We were thoroughly impressed by their large showroom.

I ordered a furniture set from Crib Outlet in Union several weeks ago for my child. Although the staff was friendly and professional, when they delivered the furniture, the dresser/changing table arrived damaged. I was informed that they

I recently purchased furniture from this store last week and opted for delivery and assembly. The delivery company put the cribs together, but informed me that they had to return the next day to replace a wheel. I was very understanding because stuff happens sometimes. The delivery man assured me that he would return the next day, but could not confirm a time. Consequently, he informed me that he would call to let me know in the morning. After waiting in the house almost an entire day, I called the store to inquire the status of the second part of my delivery, the store rep. informed me that he just received the part and would try to have it delivered this evening. Once again he could not provide me a time. After going back and forth about waiting in the house not only an entire day and requesting that I wait for the rest of the evening the only solution he could come up with was to deliver it tomorrow. I asked the question, "what time?" He could not tell me. At this point, I'm upset because I think that asking a customer to wait in the house a third day is a bit much to ask. Keep in mind, no apology yet. Well the prognosis was that all he could do was try and have it delivered tomorrow and would take my cell phone number down. So I guess instead of waiting in the house all day, I'm supposed to be on edge and run back home once they call me. The moral of the story is, customer service does not exist with this business.

And I did not even have time to write about how the store rep, who I later learned was the owner had the nerve to raise his voice and yell over the phone. I must say this was a first for me. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE!

Cons: Owner very defensive, customer service among the worse I ever experienced!

I originally was very happy with the service at Crib Oulet. My first small issue was when the wood on my new crib started splitting. I did not make a big deal out of it, but did ask for it to be fixed. Crib Outlet was quick to respond, however, they sent a man with a marker to fix it. He realized more needed to be done and I got speedy response again. I called Crib Outlet to thank them. As the repair man was about to leave I commented on the fact that the assembly did not look right to me. He told me it was fine. Well, less than a month later, the slider on my crib popped out of the groove on the side causing a huge scratch. I was concerned about the safety of my baby more so than the scratch. When I called the Crib Outlet, an employee told me to call back instead of leave my number because the manager would not call me back. I called three times that day. The manager complained to me that this was my second complaint and that it was probably my fault that the slider came loose. I explained that I noticed it was loose while his employees were here. He told me that his employees can put together a crib with their eyes closed and that anyone who was in any way mechanical would be able to fix it. He did say he would replace the parts-I did not even ask for that. I just asked him to fix what I had. The manager then told me that he would never deal with me again and not to call him if I have another problem. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The manager was very rude and defensive even as I repeated told him I was not blaming anyone. I have told my many pregnant friends NOT to use the Crib Outlet.
