This restaurant is a bit pricey, but the food is really delicious and makes the price worth it. They always have great specials and you can byob, which is nice.

The restaurant is decorated in the Tuscan Style - it has a wonderful atmosphere and is quite spacious. Richie, the manager, is a sweetheart - the whole staff has a wonderful attitude and make dining a pleasure. Best of all, the food is incredible - I've had the Tuna with Wasabi potatoes, Calamari, Tricolore Salad and the Warm Apple Tart - I was not a huge fan of the arugula salad with pears - it was a tad bitter and unbalanced, but I made recommendations (i.e., more pears, maybe poached, a little honey in the dressing to offset the bitterness of the arugula). Everyone enjoyed their meals including my husband and son who loved the calamari and the pasta bolognese. It's not a great restaurant for very young children - although they do have high chairs, the atmosphere is a bit sophisticated for an anxious 1 year old. We look forward to going back!

Aquila is so popular with locals and regulars, it is difficult to be seated on time even with a reservation, but this small inconvenience is worth it. The fine Italian fusion food served is truly sublime. The diverse menu never fails to delight, especially a leg of duck in a grand marnier glaze served over delicate greens. Don't miss the warm chocolate cake for dessert and don't forget to bring your own wine for the occasion- an excellent barolo would be appropriate!
