Cinderella Bridals is the first shop I went to when I first started looking for my wedding dress. From the beginning, the customer service was excellent. I totally forgot to make an appt before I left for my trip there all the way from MD, but that was no issue because when I called them they were able to fit me into their schedule, which was nice. It would have sucked if I drove all the way up there and wasn't able to get an appt.
So when I got there, the ambience of the store was pretty nice. It was not too crampy or messy like some places that I have visited and they have a lot to choose from.
I was so confused and how this whole thing was supposed to go since it was my first stop for looking for my dress, but when I went to the back room to try on dresses, the ladies that were there to help were really nice and made sure to ask what styles I had in mind. So I gave her my styles that I preferred and she picked out couple of dresses for me to try on along those lines. Pat, the lady that helped me try on all the dresses was very friendly and patient. She didn't get irritated or anything like that when I tried on the couple of the same dresses several times to compare with other dresses.
At the end of the visit, I had two dresses that I liked, but of course I didn't make my decision right then and there since it's the first place I visited and I wanted to shop around some more.
So, I did indeed to some more shopping and visited 6 other bridal shops, but Cinderella's bridal kept on coming up in the back of my mind. Dont' get me wrong, the other places I visited had some nice dresses too, but the prices for the dresses weren't worth what they were asking for and the customer service wasn't as up to par.
The end result is that I have decided to drive all the way back up to Jersey from MD to order my dress at Cinderella's because I love the dress I tried on there, the price is very good for the dress, and I feel like the workers there will take care of me and make sure I get what I want.
I also had a chance to speak to the owner on the phone and she was just as pleasant to talk to as were the other workers. These people will definately try to work with you to help you get what you want.
One last thing, I also loved how Pat was able offer her input on what dresses she thought would look good on me and not since I am such a petite bride. I know I tried on couple of dresses that were not flattering to my figure and she was honest with me about it too, which means that she actually CARES to help me find a dress that looks good on me and not just try to SELL any dress.
All in all, I would definately recommend this shop to others; even if you dont' live in Jersey it's worth the drive.
Oo....forgot to mention...the bride also gets a coupon for 10% off her gown and all her bridesmaids get 15% off of their dresses.

I went to Cinderella Bridals to purchase my wedding gown over 4 years ago, and recently returned with my friend who is getting married. I recommended this shop to her because of the great experience I had for my own wedding. The sales ladies are kind and patient, and have a knack for picking out the right dresses based on what you think you'd like. Alterations went smoothly for me, and the dress fit perfectly afterward. My friend just had a similar great experience and purchased a gown from them. The sales lady who helped her made us feel relaxed, and we had a great time!

I just got home from buying my dress at Cinderella Bridals. Patty the sales woman was just awesome. She had patience but also knowledge, excellent advice and she just knew her business. I recommend Cinderella bridals for the investment you are going to do for your special day. Carla was great too! No one was pushy nor did anyone rush me. It was a pleasure to be there and I wouldn't have gone anywhere else. I haven't gotten to the alternations yet, but now, I'm not even worried. I feel I'm in good hands with experts!!!

I had an amazing experience with Cinderella Bridals. I found a Maggie Sottero wedding dress that I was in love with. Although the store did not have the dress in stock, they still ordered the dress for me. They gave me the cheapest price compared to 3 other bridal stores in the area. I was also given a veil for half price and $100 off preservation.
All of my fittings went smoothly. There was always someone there to help me get the dress on and off and help with whatever else I may have needed. The seamstress did a wonderful job. I didnt want a very big bustle, and she was able to give me exactly what I was looking for.
Everyone was always extremely organized. I have worked with almost all of the staff. Hetty, Carla and Andrea were always extremely patient and understanding and really worked with me to get the vision I was looking for. I even had a slight breakdown for ordering the wrong color. They fixed everything, and really made me happy. I thought the prices were beyond reasonable. I highly recommend shopping at Cinderella Bridals. Thanks to them, I had an amazing experience!

I purchased a flower girl dress for my daughter. Buying the dress was fine and the service was just OK but I was shocked by the cost of alterations. Although the seamstress swore she told me the cost before I left, she did not. A little girl's hem on a flower girl dress cost $75 (slightly less than half the cost of the dress). My sister, who needed extensive alterations to her bridesmaid dress for the same wedding including the hem, straps added to the dress, and numerous alterations to accommodate her very large chest size only cost $85. Every one else I know, even people in Bergen County which tends to cost more, spent no more than $45 dollars for alterations of a flower girl dress. I've been a bridesmaid many times and have had much better experiences elsewhere.
I would also say that the dress looked fine enough but it was certainly not perfect as the seamstress claimed. For customers who do choose to use Cinderella Bridals, I would strongly consider using an outside seamstress, or at least get the cost of the alterations spelled out in writing before hand, including any changes for adjustments.

Had an appointment at Cinderella Bridal and was very pleased with everything from greeting to service. They were very pleasant and professional. Not only did I find the dress I was looking for but they would customize it to my specifications. They never rushed or pressured me, and made be feel appreciated. Anyone who bashes Cinderella Bridal either had their nose in the air when they walked in or HAD NO APPOINTMENT. They had a selection to fit all shapes sizes and ages. You'll be happy you went there.

Hetty did an amazing job of picking out a wedding dress for me. She selected 7 or so dresses for me to try on, none of which I would've picked for myself. They were all beautiful and of great quality, but I ended up buying the first one I tried on. Hetty has a great eye! Plus, she was fun to talk with and was full of information about accessories (undergarments, shoes, veils, etc.). The only thing I had a problem with was when another saleswoman (or maybe it was the owner) came in and had to double-check Hetti's work (which included measuring me and checking if that company made my size). Although it was to my benefit, I would think that she could've pulled her aside to talk. I would definately suggest shopping at Cinderella's.

I don't understand why other people have bashed Carla. I thought she was very professional and straight forward. At the end of the day, she's a business owner, not your best friend, so isn't professionalism more important? Personally, I found she was accurate and straight to the point, checking to ensure that my sales associate had properly measured for the gown I had chosen. I wasn't even going into the store with intent of looking at a gown.. I was really shopping for FMIL and MOB gowns. I did not have an appointment, but they were very gracious and accomodating-- inviting me to take a look at their selection. (For the record, I was greeted by 3 different people, who were all VERY friendly) They do have quite a varying selection of gowns-- I definitely agree, that for someone looking for something a little less 'generic' this is a good shop to check out. I'm the most offbeat bride I've ever known, and really didn't expect to find something that would fit my 30s theme event.. but surprizingly I did find a very beautiful gown, with very intricate beadwork, in an antique motif/ ivory/gold color that was just stunning. I couldn't believe how inexpensive the dress seemed for the amount of detail. HONESTLY!! I looked at a gown in NYC that wasn't half as well constructed and the tag on that particular gown was $2K. I cannot speak for their alterations, as I'm not at that point yet... but you should give them a chance. Make an appointment, and if you don't find something you like, then look elsewhere. This was by far the LEAST rude or pushy store i've ever been to. (I'm not going to name names, but for other friends weddings we went to a store with the initials "D.B." for the bridesmaids gowns, and I felt that it was only there that I encountered strong pushy behavior and rudeness to the nines.)

I have had several encounters with this store. The staff is nice, with the exception of the owner - Carla. She is quite arrogant and rude.
The selection is pretty good, but I prefer to take my business where I feel it is appreciated.

I have been to many bridal shops. Cinderella is one of the best. The people there are very helpful and kind. One of the girls there took my 4 year old daughter's measurements and was so good with her. She made the experience very memorable for her. The staff is very helpful when you call too!! I would say they exceeded my expectations and I will recommend this place to all my friends.

I went to this store to order a dress for a friend's wedding. I was impressed with the large selection of bridesmaid dresses that they have, so many designers to choose from. And unlike most shops that only carry a few styles from a designer, Cinderella Bridals seems to have almost all. I decided this would be the first place that I would go to look for my wedding gown. So 2 months after I purchased a bridemaids dress here, I came back for a wedding gown. The gowns are in a back room and you do need an appt. but it is definately worth it. The selection of gowns they have is great! The first one that I tried on was the one I ended up going with. The staff is really nice and extremly helpful. My bridesmaids will be ordering there dresses from there as well. The prices seem to be very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend this bridal salon.
