You can always find the most unique items here. This place is what a flea market is supposed to be. Not full of Asian Knock Offs.
The Italian Ice stands there have the BEST Ice around!

I dont know what these guys are talking about. This place is the best. I am a vendor and the tables were all replaced this summer. Spring, Summer, and Fall are the best times to go. I have been going to this market for 5 years and find the management to be very friendly. They know all the regular vendors by name, and always stop by my table to say hello.
The "gun' vendor you mention has been removed from the market for fighting (and by the sound of the posts below me thats the guy he fought)

Trust me on this - go to Collingswood or Englishtown flea market! This one is not worth your time or your money. You want a real experience at a flea market check out those two much better, more trustworthy.

WORST flea market in New Jersey! They let the vendors bad mouth the customers and allow fights to break out. Nothing is done to the vendors. Poor management and selections process for vendors. One in particular is a man who sells the guns. Please do not buy from him b/c you are wasting your hard earned money. He is a schister - bad products that fall apart and he doesn't even have any consideration/customer service knowledge. Product quality is extremely poor and not worth the money.

Business Response:

You were asked to leave by the police because you beat up a vendor. If protecting our vendors from physical violence makes us "poor management" than so be it.

This is a true flea market -- not alot of brand new made-in-China, dollar store stuff. It's more like going to a giant giant yard sale. Stuff is extremely cheap and you can usually bargain with the dealers. Some weekends there are great finds. Especially good shopping for men into tools. Lots of good quality second hand clothing and household items. Some new stuff, but isn't there always? Farmer's market section has a fairly good selection. My favorite section is along the back -- the tail-gating section. So much to look at. Just be aware it is an early morning venue. By noon time or shortly thereafter the dealers start packing up, so get there early.
