Acceptable food, though in our case it was lukewarm. Service consists of taking your order then disappearing. Not an enjoyable dining experience--they put a table for two in a corner next to a loud group with children running around your table. When I complained they did nothing. Horrible experience. I won't go back and cannot recommend it.

This is a nice quite restaurant in Wayne. The menu is not extensive which is nice, very simple. The food is terrific. I had the ribs and they were unbelievable, didn't expect it from a non-barbecue restaurant. The place is not too big which makes it nice and quaint. They also have a large back room for parties, which they offer a great selection of food. Go and try it out you won't be disappointed.

Don't think it is called Mark's anymore. Believe it is the Village Inn. Good food although portions are small and pricey. Nice room for small parties.

This is my first time writing a restaurant review...but this place left such an impression on me that i just had to.

I attended a rehearsal dinner here and was vastly dissapointed. they kept us waiting for almost 2 hours before dinner was served and when it was, it was mediocre at best. the flank steak was so rare it was literally bleeding onto my plate- when i returned it for a more well done piece, the waiter came out with an equally rare plate but this time with the sauce that i told them i was severely allergic to. the only thing that i can say is that the waitstaff was very obviously overworked (they had only 2 waiters for 2 large parties) so i dont blame him for this experience, but i felt that the wait alone for the food was reason enough for me to not ever patronize this restaurant again. if you have food allergies, do not go here. if you like hot food in a reasonable amount of time, do not go here.

the one good thing: the decor is very cute- very shabby chic. other than that- it's not a place i would ever go again.

Pros: very warm atmosphere

Cons: below average food and slow service- also, not very accomodating for people w/food allergies
