Wow....This place is a nightmare! The owner's are horribly disrespectful and rude to their employees and customers. I've never heard anyone speak to people the way the owner's of this place do. The sites are small. You are right on top

Mary B., you couldn't be more wrong. We are seasonal campers at HS, and they don't cater to us at all. They cater to the Canadians that come down each summer, in fact they kiss their butts left and right. We get hit with all the fees you do, and then some. They have all our money by April, so they have no incentive to even be decent to us for the rest of the season, and they're not. They have a "free" dinner on the very last day of the season, when they know everyone is busy packing and cleaning (Beachcomber had theirs in September), and they make you bring a side dish or desert if you want to come. The employees are great, but the owners are jerks. So why do we stay? Because they want a huge percentage if you sell your trailer. Plus the other campers are like family to us, so we put up with the BS rules and fees imposed by the Robinsons and just try to ignore them. And security is a little strict, but that's what makes it a decent family campground. And we're not older, and many of our friends have young kids. Please get your facts straight, you can't know everything from one visit, not what we've learned in years of being here.

This campground caters to seasonal renters. They are very strict with their security. Every visitor must register at the main office and pay a hefty daily rate, even if you are just visiting for a short time. It is quiet and caters to an older clientele.
