selection is great, puppys are in pens not cages, personal is great and hours they are open is great, have purchased 3 dogs from them, never a problem , keep up the good work!!!!

hi i got my puppy in december,his name is oliver i am very happy with him.he is the best when i went there he was with his brother its him that i am wanting to know about his breed is a cocker peeka poo i wanted to buy him to but he had a bump on his head and the said he was not for sale about 10 days later i called to see if they had him and the sold him so they say,i would like to know how he id doing and what he looks like. my dog turne out to be so cute everyone wants to no what kind of dog he is they would like one.i tried to call puppy barn and ask them if they would be getting anymore cocker peeka poos in and they said no so if anyone out there purchase the brother or that breed i would love to no ty

Today I Went TO THE PUPPY BARN WITH A FRIEND WE BOTH WERE LOOKING TO BUY PUPPIES. THE GIRL THAT WAS ON THE FLOOR WAS QUITE NICE BUT THE PMS WOMAN BEHIND THE COUNTER WAS TERRIBLE I UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE PEOPLE COMING IN AND OUT OF THEIR ALL DAY LONG JUST LOOKING BUT YOU HAVE TO BE NICE NO MATTER WHAT. SHE WAS IN SURBS AND HAD SMALL BLACK GLASSES ON YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO TALK TO PEOPLE NO MATTER WHAT. YOU ARE IN RETAIL YOU LOST 2 SALE EACH ABOUT 2000.00 NASTY NASTY

I would NEVER, EVER buy a puppy from Puppy Barn II again.

I did some Internet research after I bought my dog and found out that my pomeranian came from a puppy mill in Pennsylvania - not a breeder.

Puppy mills are horrible places where female dogs are kept in dirty cages and bred until they are too old - from what I've read all the dogs have terrible, terrible lives there.

After doing a lot more reading I found out that NO responsible dog breeder would sell their puppies to a pet store like Puppy Barn II OR any other pet store.

Places like Puppy Barn II and other pet stores sell puppies from puppy mills, unfortunately.

If I could do it all over again I would do one of two things:

1. Go PETFINDER.COM where you can search for any breed of dog or PUPPY for adoption.

2. Buy a puppy from a responsible breeder.

Sure the puppies there are cute, but are they healthy?

I bought a puppy there last week. Only to take it to it's first vet appointment and find out it had kennel cough and ringworm. I then returned the sick puppy for a refund. I would never purchase another puppy from Puppy Barn.

When I went to the puppy barn I was treated very rudely by the staff. I also noticed more then one puppy eating feces. I would never ever buy a puppy from there nor will I ever return.

Found the Puppy Barn to be a good experience. There ere a wide variety of Breeds and Mixed Breed dogs. The pens were clean and gave the pups plenty of room to move (more so than most pet stores). For the most part the three ladies working were helpful and nice (A lot of people so we were rushed a little bit). Summer prices were very reasonable Regular prices were average. We did purchase a mixed breed and so far are very happy

The store was not as clean as others. I've been here several times in the last few weeks trying to make a decision on a puppy- I found the people to be very unhelpful and downright rude.. Selecting a puppy is a very big decision, especially when you have small children- Before any of my questions were answered, I was asked if I'm actually serious about buying a puppy.

When I went to the puppy barn i wanted a dog that would be equal size to my lab--so i purchased what i thought was going to be a sherpard/rottie and weigh about 75lbs. What I got was a mutt that weighs about 30lbs and she will get no bigger. When I called the puppy barn and asked them for information on the dog i purchased they told me the same thing that i was previously told shepard/rottie 75lbs. I then informed that my vet informed me differently. They told me I could return my dog since I was not a happy customer. Would any one return a dog they have had almost 2 weeks. I don't know but I couldn't return her and they where unwilling to help in any other way. I would never ever purchase another dog from there again. Plus I heard that they get their shipments on Tuesday and that the dogs arrive in rubbermaid containers with holes punched in them for airvents. How true that is i am not sure.. but i don't think that is very humane

My reviews are mixed. we bought 2 puppies here. a golden retriever and a shi-tzu. they are both adorable but the shi-tzu has seizures. she has them bad. every 2 weeks or less. the vet said most likely it is congenital. so I called the puppy barn to get info on the breeders. so I could relay to them that they are breeding dogs that have seizures and the staff at the puppy barn were no help. they would not give me any info. our vet bills have been very high. on the bright side, the puppy barn has a nice selection and their prices are reasonable. I would probably not buy another dog there though.

PROS: nice selection, reasonably priced
CONS: sickly dog and no help from staff on getting us info on the breeders.

I really like the puppy barn. They have a really nice selections of dogs and they are also reasonably priced. We got our baby from there and he is healthy and happy!!
