I've enjoyed the sushi rolls I've been served at Empire Hunan, and the Chinese food has been quite good as well. The interior is nicely decorated, and the service quite good. Great place for a business lunch.

I'm health conscious and am trying to avoid Chinese food and the grease. But if temptations persist, Empire Hunan is my place. Eating their food you could tell that it's really fresh. Their place looks very clean, too, unlike many Chinese fast foods.

If it helps, I am a Chinese food aficionado. Compared to other Chinese food I've had this was very good. The drawback of Empire is it is very small and can only accomodate a limited number of people at a time which is odd for a Chinese restaurant. It is also a BYO, which keeps the prices very affordable, but also deprives you of the experience of having that much looked-forward-to Mai Tai.

Pros: Good food at a good price

Cons: Small digs and no liquor license
