This is someplace you have to try. The mexican food is
excellent and so are the margaritas. Very nice relaxed environment. Great Service. Best mexican food in the area.

The Rattlesnake Ranch is a nice place to eat for burgers, buffalo, ostrich meat, chili or salads. Anything you would like can be found on their menu. The service is friendly, sometimes a little slow, but it is worth the wait.

I might be a bit biased as the Rattlesnake Ranch Cafe is probably the restaurant that I frequent the most.

Food wise, you can select high quality meals for lunch, dinner or drinks. Foods range from above average burgers (they offer beef, buffalo, or ostrich meat), hearty chili, a full range of Mexican selections, and wide ranging daily specialties. The tortillas and salsa are excellent (given to all diners in lieu of bread). Perhaps the menu is a bit skewed towards the "deep fried" side, but there are options for all diets. I've never had a bad dine-in experience (though whenever we take out, I make sure to double check that my order was filled correctly)

The wait staff, bartenders and hostesses are usually very professional and attentive.

The atmosphere is a good change of pace, with SW-style decor on the walls, wood paneling separating the restaurant from the bar section, and a nice outdoor patio during warm weather (though the trains running through Mt. Tabor are noisy).

From the bar, the margaritas are a hit and attract repeat customers, there are usually a good selection of beers on tap from domestic Americans to Dos Equis to rotating seasonals and microbrews.

Most nights, the Snake usually puts on live music (which can get loud if you're eating dinner), karaoke, and NFL games on Sundays with bar specials.

On a price scale, it's a value for the quality... especially for burgers, sandwiches, and most appetizers ($7-$12). Entrees will run $15-$25 and are very tasty. Beers will run $3-$5 and mixed drinks $5-$10.

Overall a great place to go with friends, drinking buddies, or your date. I would highly recommend.

This cafe located in a small plaza has a eclectic assortment of dishes. From the tame chicken fingers and tacos to fried snake and other exotic game, this cafe knows what they are doing with food and I recommend this to anyone seeking a thrill in their life as well as good food.
