I recently went to Jim Mortimer with the intention to redesign my diamond wedding band and engagement ring. We discussed various options and I found Jim to be extremely knowledgeable, patient and confident as we discussed the pros and cons of various styles and designs. It was a big decision for me, and only with the expertise and reassurance of Jim would I have been able to make this decision so easily. Both Jim and his wife, Lois are first class and I would definately do business with them again. Finally, I felt Jim's prices were extremely reasonable and fair. What a pleasure, thank you Jim and Lois, I'll be back!

I recently visited this store to get my ruby necklace fixed because the ruby kept coming loose. The jeweler looked at it and said it was happening because the prongs were not long enough that were holding it in the necklace. Instead of waiting the usual 4 weeks that the mall takes to fix this, I paid $40 for all new prongs and it was back to me in 2 days! Thank you so much for working so quickly on my necklace!

I was at his store and had questions about the diamonds that kept falling out of my wedding set, after already having the whole ring replaced because there was a crack in the diamond. He yelled at me and asked me if I were a jeweler? No I am not, but my husband did pay good money for this set. And, is that the way to handle customers?

I was in the Burlington Twp. area getting my hair done for an event at a local salon and decided to stroll into Jim Mortimer Jewelers while I was waiting for my friends to finish up. I walked into my now favorite jewelry store ever! I was just looking around and when I spotted a gorgeous diamond necklace I just had to try it on. Even though I said I wouldn't be able to afford it the salespeople were very gracious and took over 30 minutes explaining the work that went into making this piece. I was so happy with how nice they were and how accomidating that I went back the next day and bought my now favorite necklace! I couldn't have found a better jeweler!!! Thank you and you will have my business for life!

I took Jim 62 grams of 14k scrap gold and asked him to make me a band for my thumb finger. When I went to pick up the ring it weighed only 17 grams and when I asked about the rest of the gold he provided me with a scrap that wieghed only 2.4 grams. There is over 42 grams of gold missing.

I wrote, complained and to this date no resolution. Buyers beware, this seems to be a common practice and most people do not have acess to an accurate scale.

Update 12/16/2007. wrote to the BBB, Jim claims scrap gold of 28.4 grams was returned to me and not gold. This is a lie!

i was window shopping one after noon and went inside just to look around i love diamonds and gold but it has to be in my budget i was lucky to go in that day they had such a sale i brought my self some nice rings the parking is great and the staff are very nice and friendly the prices wow you have to see it to believe it i was shocked its in a very good location and the store is clean and well organizerd i do recomend and will contiue to go there when ever i can this is a very classy place and the service is wonderful good work
