I am giving one star for the morning driver only. She is awesome. The pm driver is a mess. She used to wear headphones and listened to music while driving a bus load of children to I reported her. She constantly is late dropping them off to stops. She once was twenty min early to bus stop and said oh well I had less kids on bus... She yelled at my child. She claimed my child did not inform her she was on bus and proceeded to pass her stop, scaring her. My child sits behind driver in full view of Mirror. She was late to school two days in a row now. 1245 dismissal, and she shows up at approx 1pm. Lady, get it together! Rick bus company makes excuses, like the route is long.. No! The bus driver is never on time! She is rude and obnoxious . Yet Rick bus company continues to employ her. Now parents are being forced to go to a meeting at the school about the bus or our children cannot ride anymore. Then how do they get to school? We must switch our work schedules or hire someone to do it.. Wonderful!!!!!!

At 2:00 my daughter called me saying the bus was not coming and I had to pick her up. When I got there at 2:30, my daughter was still sitting outside! The bus didn't even bother to come pick her up like they were SUPPOSED to! They have NO right to have done this. The information about the reduced day was on the SCHOOL CALENDAR!

Also, bus number #2427 is a terrible bus. The lift breaks down pretty much everyday, the bus is filthy, the heat barely works, the radio doesn't work, the straps are old and disgusting. Rick Bus Co. needs to get their act together.

I just wanted to say thank you for our wonderful bus driver Jahara. She is a delight to meet every morning when she picks up my children for school. My children say that she is just as kind and caring on the route to school. I have trusted my children for many years now with Rick Bus Company and have always had nice drivers. Jahara has just been outstanding and a tribute to the care that Rick must take in selecting employees.

In the morning the driver from Rick Bus Co. is so kindly and patient. He always greets us with a bright and friendly face. He has earned our trust. One morning our driver was very late, so we had to drive to school, the next day the driver apologized and admitted that they were running late. School does not penalize children for being late if they take the bus. We told him, we are so pleased he is our driver that it was ok. In fact, all the parents who had to drive their child to school that morning felt the same way about the driver.

On the return, trip home, our driver is always very, very nice. We had one problem with confusion over the location of the stop...it wasn't clearly communicated from the town we live in. By going to the township administrative office, we were able to clearly communicate the problem, and they addressed it with the bus company. It was resolved the next day. We need to treat the drivers with respect and give them an opportunity to correct problems with simple private communication. It is clear they are striving to improve their service.

yeah tell me more my son is on a bus of ricks its the second year, when his school switched big mistake. the bus did not show up alot last year i would be on the phone with dispatch n they would call the bus driver n said they were there n just left n i said no they were not we were outside n then dispatch would ask if they could go back they said no because they are already near the school but how could that be when they just said they were at our house n the school is 20mins away !!!!!!!! also this year the bus is late late late they have to be in school at 8 45 n the bus has been coming at 8 46 witch is making my other son late for his school its a very poor poor company ......... one thing if you call go to dispatch and ask for chuck they always pick up

Every thing everyone is stating is true. Rick Bus Co. is very very unprofessional and unorganized. I would not at all recommend anyone to use their services or to be an employee.

Very careless driving. Stunned to see children aboard the bus this morning. Driver failed to stop at stop sign, and took a shortcut intended for commercial buses to avoid traffic light.

There appears to be no website for this shady operation. I wonder why. (not so much).

i think that is one of the most racist, unprofessional bus company's i've ever worked for, they dont treat african americans workers the same as other races that they employed, they rip the workers off out of they weekly paychecks, and do not care for the safety of children in black neighbor hoods, i hope their pending class action lawsuit payback every single worker who worked for them in the best to get compensated their money back, because they deserve everything that company get hit with. thanks for listening from an xemployee.

I was a passenger on Rick??s Bus yesterday, our church chartered a bus to take our parishioners to a fellowship/prayer service on April 26th in Paterson, NJ. . I can only characterize the trip (to and from) our destination as scary/frightening & unsafe; and to report that the demeanor of the driver was rather off-putting, as he was rude & taciturn.

Firstly, the bus arrived late; we were scheduled to leave the church at 3:00 pm sharp, but the bus didn??t arrive until 3:15 pm. The bus driver made no apology for being late, and didn??t utter one word to anyone in the group; which was a bit odd. Obviously, he doesn??t know a thing about customer service or how to appropriately represent the company that he works for. The driver, stopped the bus in the middle of the street, and opened the doors to the bus ?? as if, to say that we should get on the bus where we could, without any regard to safety or the fact that he was blocking a 1-way street. We had to tell him to pull over, and to let folks embark from a position of safety, on the side of the street, where we??d purposely left space for the bus to park.

While waiting for the bus to show up ?? we made 2 calls into Rick??s & left an emergency message on the voice mail box. No one from the company called us back, regarding the messages that we left. Again, another example of poor customer service & Rick??s lack of attention to detail.

Once we boarded the bus, the driver pulled off, like a bat out of hell and continued to drive in that same reckless fashion. When driving, he speeded, did not obey the posted speed limit, and didn??t control the bus well. The bus was swerving and he kept slamming on the brakes, at ever light & stop sign; we are lucky that no one suffered whip-lash. Frankly, I was wondering if the man was drunk or high, because he was driving a bus full of passengers, including small children, with no regard to anyone??s personal safety. During the course of the trip, he was told that he was going too fast, but he made no attempt to slow down, or to take direction from the paying customers. The speed at which he approached the exit ramps & curves was frightening, the passengers were jostled throughout the trip, and he made no effort to drive responsibility or to make the passengers comfortable. The driver literally cut off other cars on the NJ Turnpike, he was driving fast & recklessly; the back of the bus was constantly fishtailing. We nearly hit another charter bus, in route to our service because the driver couldn??t control the vehicle at the high rate of speed in which he was traveling.

We were very grateful to make it to our destination safely, despite the driver??s best efforts to the contrary; and the ride back home (in the dark) was no better. I know for a fact, that several of our passengers talked to him, and commented on his poor driving. At one point, one of the passengers told him that she planned on reporting him to the bus company. In response to the compliant made, he started singing some lewd & inappropriate song and basically ignored the passenger. He whipped through the back streets near our church, like he was traveling on the interstate highway, rather than a residential city street. He showed a total lack of respect and contempt for the passengers; which was characterized by his driving and his bizarre taciturn mannerism.

DRIVING IS A PRIVILEGE, AND A CHARGER BUS DRIVER, HAS THE AWESOME RESPONSIBLY OF TRANSPORTING NUMEROUS PEOPLE; WE ENTRUSTED OUR LIVES & PERSONAL SAFETY TO RICK BUS COMPANY, AND WERE PUT AT RISK BECAUSE OF THIS DRIVER??S ACTIONS. Our passengers were scared. The bus trip detracted from what could have been a wonderful outing for our church group. I have no doubt that the only reason we avoided a major crash or accident, is because of the collective prayers of the passengers.
