Bob Maguire Chevrolet is my First Stop

I was being transferred from Germany to New Jersey and wanted to buy a truck as soon as I arrived. Most of the other dealerships wouldn't give me the time of day since I was so far away, but Andrea in the Internet Sales Department was extremely helpful. She kept a steady stream of communication through emails letting me know current specials and even emailing pictures of trucks I was interested in. When I found the truck I wanted, she set the deal up. When I arrived my salesman Walt was very friendly and helpful. This was the easiest vehicle purchase I have ever made. I love the truck, and if I need buy another car Bob Maguire Chevy will be my first stop.

bob maguire chevrolet runs a very knowledgable professional dealership

chev 2009 used impala. I was satisfied with your sales personnel. They were courteous and helpful. I do have one complaint--when I inspected the car before I bought It I forgot to look at the tires. After I drove the car home I discovered that the front tires are badly worn with uneven tread wear. I would be surprised if they would pass inspection. I really believe I should be reimbursed the price of two new tires.

Purchased Chevy Corvette one month back

It was a pleasure purchasing a vehicle from Bob Maguire Chevrolet. The car we bought was exactly as shown on the InterNet with no surprises at all. In fact, if anything, it showed better in person than it did online. Once in the showroom, the people with whom I had contact were low key but extremely helpful. Bob Maguire Chevrolet is THE BEST!!!

2 days ago, I purchased an 06 G6 coupe and the car is HOT! I saw the car online, got all the info on the vehicle from Andrea who was very nice and even sent me the Carfax report on it via email. I showed up @ the showroom the same day to deal with Dan who got me that car with the payment I wanted. They even paid off the majority of the car I traded in but was still financing. Everything went very smoothly and at the end of the day, everyone was happy!!

Best Chevy Dealership in the Tri-State Area

Great Internet Sale

Just purchased a Chevrolet Malibu from Maguire Chevrolet. I emailed three other Chevrolet dealerships in the area. Maquire answered the fastest, provided the most information and the most competitive price. Also answered 3 followup emails to ensure i had all the information before making a decision. When i picked up the car everything was great, friendly sales, no pressure to buy more products. All around great experience.

Problem with Service at Bob Mcguire

This happened quite a few years ago, but I just had to let people know about how the service department treated us.
I took my 2 year old 1995 Camaro z28 convertible to Bob Mcguire to have my AC fixed. I had a Mr. Goodwrench guarantee on the repair. We dropped it off and they had the car about 4 days and insisted on keeping it over the weekend. We went early in the morning on Monday to pick up my car but it wasn't there, then we saw the service manager drive in with my car, the car had about 200 additional miles on the odometer that hadn't been there when we dropped it off, he had my car and had been driving it. My husband was very upset and wanted to know why he had been driving the car. The Service manager told my husband he had the right to test drive the car whenever and forever how long he wanted. The service manger had a screaming match with my husband ( who was probably twice this guys age ) in the parking lot. I told them to stop since my husband had a heart problem and I was worried about him, the service manager just kept the fight going with him. We paid the bill and later I complained to Bob Mcguire who told me the service manager is his son in law and he would never do that to anyone. The same car needed the air conditioning compressor fixed again, Bob Mcguire not only refused to honor the goodwrench guarantee for us, he refused to do any mechanic work for us and complained to other local dealers that we were not good customers and do not work on our vehicles. I had to call GM in Michigan to get the name of a dealer to honor my Mr. goodwrench guarantee (for life) on my AC system. The dealer who finally worked on the car told us that Mcguire told him not to deal with us that we were a problem. I love how they drove my car without my permission, but we ended up being the bad guys in this situation. Bob Mcguire doesn't care about their customers and as far as I am concerned, I almost hope they do go out of business. I feel bad for the people who work there and would not want them to lose their jobs. Also when I complained to General Motors instead of telling Mcguire that he had to service the car for us, they allowed him to refuse us service. So gee I wonder why GM doesn't have many customers anymore, do you think it might be that they don't support the customer? I realize this happened years ago, but I still have the same car and I still have the same hurt feelings of how I was treated by Bob Mcguire Chevrolet every time I drive by them in Bordentown.

Joanne I want to personally apologize for the inappropriate service that you experienced at our dealership. While this happened years ago, I would like to meet with you & talk about what occurred. I do want to clear up one thing. Whoever the service mgr was at the time was not my father's son-in-law. My father doesn't have a son-in-law nor did he ever have a son-in-law. I have been working at our family business for the last 4 yrs & since this occurred before my time at BMC, I can't imagine who you spoke with. I can guarantee you that I have never, nor will I ever, handle a customer problem in an unpleasant manner. However, this is not the point. The point is that you had a less then ideal experience and for that I am sorry. I can assure you that customer satisfaction is our primary goal. Can't Believe These Negative Reviews!!! Would Give 6 Stars if I Could!!

First, I just want to say that in no way shape or form am I affiliated with or know anyone associated with Bob Maguire Chevrolet.

Second, I want to say that I NEVER leave reviews on sites like this (especially when you have to sign up and all of this before you can leave a review), but I was looking up the number for the dealership when I stumbled upon these negative reviews and, after reading them, felt compelled to respond with my experience with Bob Maguire Chevrolet. Sites like this pop up on Google more and more these days so that In my line of business (restaurant) and in an increasing amount of others, the reviews that people leave are very important, as one or two negative reviews can be more than enough for a customer to decide to not come in, resulting in less business for me. So, for example, a posting like the one by "Ketan S." called "American Buyer" above, might be enough to drive a sale away from this dealership because of his one-star rating when, in actuality, he was moreso asking a question than giving this particular business a "1" on a scale of 1 to 5. I would just ask that if people are going to take the time to write a review such as these to please make sure you consider the effects your ratings and what you have to say can have because they are real effects in this day and age.

MOVING ON...I am 41 years old and have owned three cars in my lifetime; all three have been purchased/leased exclusively from Bob Maguire Chevrolet for one reason: consistently exceptional service. I live in Pennsylvania and gladly drive the extra 30 minutes from my local dealerships for the great service and exception people that work there. In addition, in the past 10-15 years I have referred COUNTLESS friends and family members to Bob Maguire Chevrolet and have never, ever heard anything but positive things in response, and, in fact, many of those people have become loyal customers like me in the process.

I completely take into consideration the fact that I may have "gotten lucky" every time I have gone there and that, in actuality, these negative reviews are a more accurate portrayal of the quality of the dealership; however, given the extensive amount of time and business myself and people very close to me have spent there, I not only find that very hard to believe but, in fact, I have to assume the opposite: that these few poor experiences that customers have had there represent the exception rather than the norm.

To (finally) sum this up, It is virtually impossible for any business to achieve 100% customer satisfaction; I think even the dealership itself would attest to the fact that there have been poor transactions with customers throughout the years, be it because of a bad day the customer was having or even just a salesman who wasn't on his or her game that day.

But, and I can say this with complete confidence, having been a customer of Bob Maguire Chevrolet for about 15 years, I could not recommend this dealership MORE to anyone in the market not just for a Chevrolet, but for any automobile, as the people and experience there are of such high quality that they might just change your mind from one of those expensive foreign cars to a reliable, affordable American-built Chevy. Remember: buying a car is an important and expensive investment, and you are entitled to the best possible service you can get. I have always felt comfortable making my automobile decisions at this dealership because I feel that I receive the respect and service that I am entitled to when making such an important decision. And to everyone that has left a negative review, I completely respect the fact that you are entitled to your own opinion, especially in an open forum such as this. But I have been a customer of theirs for a long time and can almost promise you that if you give them a second chance you will see that your experience this time is an exceptional one...and then you will be the one coming back on this board feeling compelled to post a "6-star" review right next to mine.

Never been so disappointed in my life!!!

I went to Bob Maguire Chevrolet in Bordentown on Sept. 30, 2008 and I purchased a 2006 Trail blazer after coming out of a Ford Expedition. When first purchasing the car I was excited, but as I was driving it home, It was making funny noises the head lights are not working correctly, when I drive it at night I can't see the road I have to drive with my high beams on. I thought it was me but then my husband drove it and said the same thing. I called back the next morning telling them I hate the car it causing me problems already and if I could find something else on the lot worth the money I was putting out. (I did say the very next MORNING). They gave me all the reasoning why they can't change my car and none of what they said made since. Then the car started making noises and jumping when I would hit the brakes. Still under my 30 day warranty I called they asked me to bring it in to repairs they called me and told me it would cost me 4 hundred plus dollars for them to fix it. I had not even made a car payment. They claim they fixed it but even now to this day very day it's doing the same thing. They sold me a lemon and I've decided that life is to short to go back and forth with these people so I'm going to let my attorney deal with them. I would not recommend anyone to go to them ever in life. Oh did i happen to mention that they sold me this car for 20 thousand dollars with problems!!!! Very unsatisfied!!! For car dealerships to be going under you would think that they would do any and all they can to keep the customer happy so they can bring other people to them. I wouldn't recommend anyone to them. And they want tax payers monies to help these car dealerships out. I think not!!!!

Excellent Service Dept

I moved to NJ a few years ago driving an 98 Chevy Blazer. I have had many things in need of repair due to wear and tear, and everytime I was thoroughly impressed with how prompt and friendly the service department was. Also, the service manager was willing to look around for refurbished parts (I am a college student and money is an issue). I highly recommend this company.

Excellent Service throughout

I purchased A Chevy Tahoe from Bob Maguire Chevrolet. I used to have a Jeep and now with a basis for comparison I have found that the service at this dealership is excellent. The employees were all very professional and remember my name everytime I show up for a service. I receive an email and a phone call whenever it is time to service my Tahoe so I dont have to keep a mental note or worry about missing anything. From the day I stepped foot in the door I never felt pushed or obligated to pay for anything unecessary and I have had nothing but positive experiences with both the people and the vehicle. I highly recommend!!!!

Great Dealership (no lie)

I recently was on the market for a corvette, and after receiving NO responses from any dealerships, Bob Maguire came to the rescue. I have lived in Bordentown all of my life and have seen the many dealerships come and go, but Bob Maguire Chevrolet have never left, and know its clear why. They have a staff that puts the customer first as if it was the just the two of you negotiating. They are reasonable, but more importantly, they are kind. There is nothing worse than getting a horrible salesperson attempting to sale you something you don't want. Bob Maguire truly made a dream come true, and I grateful to have done business with them.
