.

I tried to order a Chocolate cupcake at the cafe. This happen on Route 17 South, Paramus, NJ at approximately 10 at night on Friday Jan 4 at the cafe. I have a speech impediment so have a stutter. I tried to order from a cupcake from the shorter red hair girl working behind the cafe. She asked me what I wanted.. I tried to speak but couldn't say what I wanted.. so I tried pointing. A few second later, she ignored me. Confuse at that point.. I goto the cashier who was friendlier and a different person. I still couldn't said what I wanted but at least she listen and tried to help. \r\n\r\nFor anyone who doesn't know what a speech impediment is so a search on wiki or google it...

Barnes & Nobles in Paramus is a huge store and is always crowded no matter what time of the day you visit it. It can be overwhelming when you first step through the doors as the scope of the place is gigantic, but it's easy to navigate and find what you need.

Everyone is always lounging around and reading in every section of the store. Most of the time you can find what you are looking for. If not check with customer service and they will help you out immensely.

You can also find cards, paper products, and novelty items for sale as well.

The other place to check for you books is the used and rare book section at the back of the store. Lots of amazing deals to be found over there. They also take your old, unused books you want to get rid of in exchange for either cash or store credit. Just make sure you check what they are looking for at the time.

A nice Starbucks is located for your coffee fix.

The second floor features CDs and DVDs. It also houses a huge reading area mostly populated by school kids doing work.

I just getting into the place off Rte. 17. Anything on Rte. 17 is a nightmare.

All in all it's one of my favorite places to visit just to unwind and relax.

PROS: Tremedous size, greats election, awesome atmosphere
CONS: It's on Rte. 17
