.

i waited a few days from my pickup to write this, to cool down.

the first review on yelp.com is why i tried this place.

first let me say the poster i had matted and framed came out very nice, couldn't ask for better...

with that said...when i initially took my poster in, i spoke with Steve. he seemed to me one of those people who made you feel like you were bothering him or wasting his time coming into his place of business. i wrote this off as his having a bad day or something, not a big deal...we don't need to be best pals. Steve really didn't have any direction for me...saying he didn't want to spend my money, but he did agree everything (frame and mat) i looked at would look good.

he told me 8 to 10 business days, and don't call him, he'll call me.
one month later, i get the call my poster is ready (not Steve, the guy who is on their voice-mail, from the sounds of it) when asked what the holdup was, he told me they had to order the frame twice. ok, it happens. would have been nice to have a call though.

when i picked up my framed poster, i had to wait a minute or two while Steve was chatting with what i assume was a friend from the neighborhood. when the guy left, Steve's tone changed a little, and the sense i was again bothering or annoying him returned, it wasn't my imagination.
we looked at the product, again...in fairness...it looked great.

i then, after paying, told him i was a little pissed off about the month it took, with no word. he again said he told me that when i first came in he said 8 to 10 business days, which he explained meant two weeks. (because clearly i didn't understand what a business day was.)

i was also pissed with his demeanor, but kept that to myself.
when i asked if he'd be ok with a delay and no communication about something he purchased, he replied he "probably wouldn't give a s**t".

in today's economy, maybe you shouldn't try to piss off your customers?

the work was fine, the service sucked. i'll be looking for another framing place. better luck to you if you choose to go here.
