First of all i want to say how sorry i am that i didnt read the negative reviews before we went to Planet Honda.
We decided to go car hunting on Memorial Day. When we arrived they were having a barbeque outside and the saleman that ended up dealing with us, was out there eating and received us in that manner. I should of known from that moment that i wasnt getting a good vibe from him. Needless to say we continued to use him. My husband and i went on a test drive The salesman kept ranting and raving how great the car was but we had already done our research and we knew everything we needed to know about the car. It was pretty comical. My husband even asked him questions about the car that he didnt know the answers to. We then go in to crunch the numbers. Art goes to his manager and comes back with the price of the car that was listed on the internet with and additional $1675 he says were for fees and cleaning the vehicle. he then starts the pitch that this is a great car and that he can only remove about $100 to $200 to help us out as if he were doing us a favor. We said no that was not going to be good for us.
We told him that we would be frank with him that we had been preapproved for $20,000 and we would put $6000 down and not a penny more.He agrees with us and says he needs to speak to his manager when he comes back with the contract it is way more with a bunch of other fees. They added this nitrogen fee for tires we told them to take it off. Then on the contract there was a line that said OPTIONAL it was for etching of VIN number on window and it cost $300 the manager argued with us back and forth that he would not take it off. Thats when i got pissed. I told him that he should look up in the dictionary wat the word optional was. In the end they didnt remove it and we ended up taking the car because after spending 5 hours in a dealership and driving 2 hours to get there i didnt want to repeat the process with another salesperson. I think that they are all a bunch of crooks. This has been the worse experience i have ever had and received a massive headache from it. I will NEVER use this dealership again and i would NEVER NEVER recommend this even to my worse enemy.

P.S I thought that we had gone through the worse dealing with Art and his his manager but i was wrong it got ten times worse when it came to deal with the financial manager John Degliuomini from the moment we spoke to him he talked down to us. He kept asking us why we weren't financing through the dealership we told him that we had been preapproved by a credit union for a very good rate he told us that it was impossible because we didn't have good credit and that we had two days to come back with the bank check or we would be locked in to their rates which was ridiculous. Mind you it was a holiday so all banks were closed. We had to take a day off work to be able to get check and bring it back to dealership. We came him all the money and for the life of me i couldn't understand why he was still rude. I did some research afterwards to find out that they dont like it when you don't finance through them because they cant make more money off you.

I like my car but i truly regret buying the car from Planet Honda because they made the experience horrible for my husband and I and i would of rather given my money to another dealership. Lesson learned.

BUYERS BEWARE.... DO NOT BUY FROM HERE you will not be respected and you will get ripped off

Planet Honda offers excellent quick service and quick repair. I bought my car their three years ago. Their service department is great. They always great customers with a smile. They provide very quick repair. I needed to get my brakes done this past weekend and I needed my car back by 12 noon. I bought my car in at 8 AM, and they promised me they would try to get my car repaired as quick as they could. Well, they did and my car was ready by 11 AM.
