I recently bought a new Nissan at Windsor Nissan. The experience was great until it came time to payoff my car. I got harassing calls from the bank i financed my traded in car for 3 months. My motor vehicle registration also was never done. Finally, after i spoke to the receptionist for the tenth time they put me through to the girl who does the plates. She promised me the plates would be done that day and gave me a phony tracking number for my payoff, stating it went out that day. I love my car and up until these problems everything was great. My salesman Phil was a gentlemen but do not buy a car here, they are frauds.

Two months ago i financed a vehicle, through my credit union, purchased at Windsor Nissan. I was told that i would be called when my registration was ready and that sometimes it takes longer than a month, so if the temp tags expired, I could get new ones. As the tags got closed to expiring I called them to see if my registration was in, and ended up waiting til two days after my the temp tags expired before they issued new ones. Now the time has come again so i started calling them about a week and a half ago. Each time i called i was told a certain person would call me back, each time a different name was used. And no one ever called me back. It got to the point that the receptionist new who i was the minute i said my name. In the end i was told there was an issue with obtaining the title from Chase. Another guy told me the problem with the title was the fact that banks are closing due to the economy and it was difficult to get things in order. Last i checked, Chase is not going out of business. The last guy told me he would call me back yesterday, didnt happen. I took a few minutes away from my duties at work to call them, and after twenty minutes of my time i was told i needed to be there to pick up a rental car by 5:45pm, which was an hour away and i was at work over an hours drive away. What car dealer in 2011 doesnt have loner cars for there clients that i was going to have to be responsible for a rental car because they dropped the ball. I was told they would pay for the rental, but i didnt want the liability of a rental car when my car works fine. I told the guy i felt like i was being run around and that i need to seek legal advice and he said if thats the case, the rental was no longer an option. I failed to mention that my credit union wrote a check for the full balance of the car, which they recieved within days of the purchase. Also when i complained of a possible ticket for expired temp tags they said they would pay the ticket as though the idea of that violation on my abstract should not be a concern. Now i am forced to risk a ticket for expired tags until they decide to take care of business. And who sells a vehicle without first having rights to the title of a vehicle?

Worst experience i have ever had. I was told they would be able to finance my wife on a 09 murano and told to go eat dinner since my wife was pregnant , and that they would have a lender for us in the am of the next morning. around 10am the next day we got a phone call from Windsor Nissan telling us we had been approved by 3 different banks. i got there at 12 pm and they were still calling the banks to get us financed, and after 45 mins they told us it wouldn't happen. I wasted more of my time and hurt our credit because they lied to us. i will be calling the state and BBB on them. Dont tell me we were approved and then say it wont happen. worst lace i have ever been to in my life

I was recommended to this dealership by a family member who had bought a car from one of their sales guys at another dealership recently (job hopper...big surprise). They were fair on the price of their vehicles and were lower than any surrounding dealerships. That being said, everything else about Windsor Nissan was pretty much sub-par, unprofessional and an absolute joke in my book. In typical fashion their sales guy, Phil, was in a huge hurry to sell pretty much any car on the lot. He would cut me off mid conversation and start walking back inside to "start working on the paperwork." The guy was a clown. After they rush you into buying, they will harass you to get what they want/ need and then ignore you when you ask for the same in return. Case and point: Phil needed the title to my trade in vehicle which had been misplaced. He called me 20 times a day...once time 8 times in one hour, leaving countless voice messages, after I repeatedly told him that I worked at a secure government facility and could not take his calls while I was at work. In return, there was a part that needed to be replaced and I was told 5 business days. Well I got the title in when I said I would, and guess what? TWO AND A HALF WEEKS LATER I had to call THEM to get the part in and installed in the vehicle. While there I asked their Internet Sales guy, Lloyd (whom I had been referred to), if they could check out the tire light that magically went on as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot and replace the ALTIMA floor mats that they threw inside of a MAXIMA. He basically told me to check the pressure myself and that they didnt have any Maxima mats. Really? How about a littler customer service past the point of sale buddy? Thankfully, unlike the posts below, their service guy was nice enough to fix the tire pressure and turn the light off while they installed the part that needed replacement. I was brushed aside by both Lloyd and Phil regarding a number of little touch ups that should have been DEALT with at the time of sale as part of their CUSTOMER SERVICE...which I suppose Windsor Nissan does not value. The car was sold to me with a little less than a 1/4 tank of gas and crusty, old windshield wipers that barely work as well. WOW. Of all the cars I have bought, the dealership at least had the decency to fill the car up. And this was all after I was REFERRED to them. You would think they would take care of a referral a little better in hopes to spawn more referrals. Oh, I still havent received my registration from them which runs out in 3 days either. This is the most unprofessional, pathetic group of people (even for a car dealership) that I have ever dealt with. I am not and will not ever recommend ANYONE to even walk on to this dealership on a Sunday when nobody was there. Their Sales team is even more low class than your typical car salesperson.

I bought a 2011 Nissan Rogue from this dealership and traded in my used Chevy Suburban. They tried to add in the gap insurance and the extra extended warranty without asking first but we caught that but they did sneak in the destination fee a second time which we found when we got home. When we noticed it we called and nobody returned our many calls so we returned to the dealership and with a little bit of a fight they agreed to give it back. Next I started getting calls from the lender who was holding the note of the Suburban I had traded in saying that my payment was late. We called the dealership numerous times and nobody returned our calls again we had to go to the dealership and confront them after having the car for twenty eight days the finally paid off our trade in. Next problem we had and is still not resolved is the plates for the new car I am now going to get my third set of temporary plates because they have not gotten me my permanent ones. Again after about twenty days on my second set of temporary plates I called the dealership and told them I was on my second temporary plate I had ten days left on the tag and no permanent plates I did not want to return to the dealership for a third set and the had ten days left to get the plates on for separate occasions I called and was told somebody would get back to me. Nobody called me back. I am now going to contact the state division of motor vehicle, Nissan corporate and a lawyer to see what my options are in filing charges and getting this business looked into about their shady business practices.

I have been reserching vehicles for about 2 months. I was dealing with several dealers that gave me prices and changed them when I got there. I was frustrated contacted Windsor Nissan and spoke to Sean Lucas their Internet Manager. He emailed me and I called him back and we went over some options, and I set up an appointment with him. Every thing that we discussed , he honored! I was pleasently surprised, especially after the dealings that I had with some other places. I Picked up my Nissan Altima from them the other day and I love it, and I love the deal I received! I told Sean that I would recomend them to anyone that I heard was looking for a car! Thank you for being up front!

I live about 10 minutes away from Windsor Nissan and I work in the area. I really needed to get an oil change for my Altima, but my schedule is really hectic, like most, so I rushed over to their dealership during my lunch break. I worked with Tony Katawick, who appears to get a bad rap on here, and he was nothing but pleasant. I was in and out of the dealership in 20 minutes and one of the employees shuttled me over to a local pizza place to grab a quick lunch....like i said, I was really trying to multi task during my break...anyway, Tony made some recommendations relating to additional maintenance work to my Altima, but I told him that my wallet was thin and I was really in a rush. He was a gentleman in respecting my decision. He noted the recommendations on my paperwork in case I changed my mind. I got out of Windsor in 20 minutes, had an oil change, a quick wash on my vehicle, grabbed some za and got back to work 10 minutes early. That is what I call a very efficient and affordable lunch.

Thanks Tony.

Two weeks ago I sent a letter to the service manager asking about an exorbitant charge for regular 30,000 mile service: almost $600 for 2 hours work, with parts making up less than $200. I have heard nothing from them. NOTHING! They got my money, so why bother with exercising the common courtesy of answering a question. George Costanza of Seinfeld was right when he laughed at the poor dupe who took his car to the dealer for service!

I had a fantastic experience buying a pre-owned vehicle from Windsor Nissan last week. I am a bit surprised as to some of the other more recent comments, but maybe there were a few bad seeds because my experience matches up with some of the positive notes from a few months ago.

Anyway, I wanted to buy a used luxury car because yes, I cannot afford a new BMW. While I was researching what was available in my area, I came across a bunch of vehicles that I liked and many of them happened to be at Windsor Nissan. They had a really really large selection of pre-owned cars that varied across nearly every brand so I figured that this was probably the best place for me to begin since I could touch and drive a good portion of the cars on my list.

When I got to the dealership, the place was very clean and organized and everyone was friendly...saying good afternoon....good evening (this was around 5p) so I had a good feeling from the start. After driving about 5 different vehicles and making the salesman, whose name was Mike Nardine, run around the lot for 2 hours, I found the right car for me and Mike was able to give me the right price. He honored the internet price, which I always find to be a bit skeptical at car dealerships, but sure enough the price online was the price.

To sum it up, I had a great experience at Windsor Nissan. The had a huge selection, i liked the facility because it was modern but not too big where you feel like you are going to get lost on the lot or in the building, my salesman went above and beyond for me to ensure that I was comfortable with my selection and the price was right for me.

Of course, Mike went over some of the new Nissan vehicle options with me as well, but I couldn't stretch for the fully loaded Maxima, which was awesome, and I wasn't interested in buying any of the other Nissan cars. My point is that he was doing his job, but he didn't pressure me into a new car.

I bought Murano '09 and Maintenance + Plus Silver Plan 1 from here.
For the last 1 and half year, I used their service dept. for regular check. Today, my wife (instead of me) went there for 15K plan service with that plan but the service manager named Tony Katawick insisted my wife that she should pay for everything except washer-drain and oil filter. I got suspicious and cross-checked the service invoice with previous invoices and service plan agreement booklet. There, everything they did except change of wiper blades were covered. I called them back and asked refund, but Tony flat refused! I am very dissatisfied and would not recommend others to use this service dept. I heard other nearby Nissan service dept. is much better and do not rip you off.

I purchased a car from them in October. Before I signed the paperwork I explained that the car had some problems and I wanted them to be checked out and repaired - they told me, if I purchase the warranty I won't have to worry about it because my warranty would cover the repairs. 3 weeks later they call me to tell me that the paperwork was done wrong by the finance guy named Dave and he was fired. I go back in to sign more paperwork with another finance guy named Peter and inquire about the warranty - allegedly the warranty was no good, there was no bumper to bumper available for my car. So they sell me some other piece of crap warranty. At this time, the car I traded-in needed to be paid off and that still hadn't happened. At this time I have to go in to get another temp sticker because there was no registration or plates yet. 3-4 more weeks go by, and the old car still isn't paid off, and the new loan company still has nothing stating that I had a loan with them. Also, I need another temp plate, because there is still no registration or plate. And the problems seem to be getting worse with the car. The manager, Chris Forzani, claims he will take care of everything. This brings us to December. My 1st car payment is due, but the loan company has no clue who I am and they have NO paperwork for me. SO, I call and they claim to be working on it. I go into the dealership and spend 3 hrs there and finally they claim it is all going through. Also, surprise surprise, I need to get another temp sticker cause still no registration, no plates. Finally, sometime in mid January, the old loan is paid off, the new loan is up and running and the registration card is found. BUT, the issues are still there with the car. So I call the warranty company to find out where I can take it for repairs, and low and behold, there is NO WARRANTY! So I am back in the dealership, yet again, to find out what is going on and they claim its ok. Its NOT. OH, and SURPRISE, Peter is gone now, there is a NEW finance person. Another person that tells me that I shouldnt be upset because she wasnt the person that worked on the original paperwork.. I heard this once before. FINALLY, Chris Forzani tells me to bring it in to be serviced and his guys will take care of everything. Well, they cant fix it! I would say I was shocked, but nothing surprises me at this point. Then, he claims he will handle it himself (he never calls me back, someone else always calls and they have no answers). He will make sure the warranty is good to go, he will make sure I get another car, he will make sure that the repairs get done at a BMW service center. I dropped off my car on 1/18 so that Chris could have it repaired. He claimed that on that same day he handled the warranty himself. He claimed that he would have my car sent to BMW to be repaired. As of today, 2/3/11, I still do NOT HAVE MY CAR. He put me in a crappy rental of a Chevy traverse (not equivalent to the car I drive), claims he sent the car to BMW, and that they are waiting for approval on the work from the warranty company before it can be worked on. For two weeks????? I call him daily and he never calls me back. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE. Ive submitted complaints to the better business bureau about this dealership. My cousin is a lawyer, he told me to give it another week and if nothing happens, then I am going to start working on the next steps.

he service department at this dealership is a scam. I brought in my 2006 Altima to be looked at because I noticed the transmission seemed to be shifting roughly and the brakes were squeaking. After taking FOREVER to even look at my vehicle (even though I had an appointment) my car was on the lift for 2 minutes and the service adviser, who was more like a salesman, informed that I needed a new transmission (WHAT??!!), new front and rear brake pads and rotors, a new battery, etc., etc. After he was unable to answer basic questions about this alleged diagnosis the :service adviser informed me that I would need to submit proof that I had had the transmission properly serviced before the new transmission could be put in or the warranty company wouldnt pay for it, though it was undeniably under warranty and all required maintenance since I purchased the vehicle had been performed. To make a long story short, I suspected he was trying to get one over on me so I took my car to another dealership for a 2nd opinion. Surprise, surprise! I DO NOT need a new transmission or a new battery and I only need new rear brake pads, not both front and rear. This fat a-hole tried to scam me for all that extra money because service advisers, like I suspected, are more like salesman and get paid commission for the work they can get people to sign off on. Luckily, I did not fall for his bs but I did end up having to pay their diagnostic fee of $125.00 which should be refunded as the diagnosis that I paid for was total bull. I hate to think that this happened because they saw a female name on the paperwork and didnt notice my fiance waiting with me but it seems awfully suspicious. DO NOT GO HERE THESE PEOPLE ARE SCUM!!

Dear Lauren L, On behalf of Windsor Nissan, I would like to apologize for any inconvenience or lack of trust we have displayed towards you. I purchased a Pre owned Ford Expedition on 12/1/10 from Jamie Rodriguez at Windsor Nissan. We had agreed on a price of $28,500. At no point did we ever discuss an extended warranty or gap insurance but it was added to my final invoice in the amount of $2,150. I only noticed this because my extended warranty information came thru the mail and said I had purchased it for $1,400. After getting the original invoice out not only was i charged for the warranty and gap insurance the price of the vehicle was $29,999 instead of what we agreed upon. This dealership took advantage of me because my two small children were getting tired of being in a dealership for close to three hours and i just signed away to get out of there. Jamie Rodriguez is unethical and i am waiting to hear back from the manager on Monday after he pulls all of my information from the records. If they live up to our original agreement and purchase price I will have alot better feelings toward this dealership.

Inherited a nissan which ran great. Until I took it in for minor service. Assured by staff not related to their work but they'd be glad to look at it. Should have agreed to the $3600 for repairs the first time...They'll get it somehow.....Will not return. Ever

I will never go to this dealership again. Very unwelcoming experience. I was looking at a some sports car had a lease price of $999. I was not not able open the door so I asked this guy behind the desk and he said it's meant for specialty customers only and that you have to be interviewed by the owner first and then you can sit inside the car. The guy had such an attitude. So I asked him was he car salesman and said no he was owner's son. I am customer and I should be interviewing, this is the first time I have heard a dealership telling me that I have to interviewed first before getting into further discussions about the car.It was as if I was there to buy a Ferrai or a lamborghini.

Sandeep M. We are terribly sorry for you less then pleasant experience at Windsor Nissan. I can assure you that this is not how we conduct business. What was the specific vehicle that you were looking at? My name is Michael Maguire and my mother, Marcy Maguire, is the dealer principal at Windsor Nissan. I see that you state that we met at the dealership, but I know that we never spoke because my office is at a different location. Furthermore, if any customer had questions about a vehicle, I would gladly work with them and bend over backwards to make sure that any vehicle was professionally presented as well as all possible purchase options. Please feel free to contact me directly because I would like to know more about your visit at Windsor Nissan and make sure that this type of customer experience never occurs again. Thank you for your time and all of us from Windsor Nissan apologize about your unpleasant experience. Michael Maguire

I was a little skeptical going to a dealership so far a way and from talking to someone on the phone they always tell you "come on in and we'll give you a great deal" words I'm sure most people heard before. Well since Windsor Nissan had such a great inventory of Dodge Rams in lots of different colors I figured I'll give it one last try and see if they could get my payments where I wanted them. So I went there, a 45 minute drive for me, and when I got there the person I was supposed to meet was not there. I was already irritated. I went around the lot and found the truck I saw online and took it for a test drive. Truck performed well, as I figured it would. Now time to get down to business, the part everyone hates. We started with the first price, which was totally higher then the range I wanted to be in. After about an hour of going back and forth and about 10 times for the salesman to go talk to the manager and then me, the numbers were where I wanted them. They paid off my trade and I left with the truck I wanted. All and all I had a good experience there, but I encourge buyers to shop around first and do your home work. Special thanks to John Kerrigan, who really made the deal happen.

Vincent, Thank you for your business and I am sorry that the purchasing process took longer then expected. I apologize that the sales person was not present upon your arrival to Windsor Nissan. This was my mistake, but I am glad that everything worked out well in the end. More importantly, I am happy to hear that you like your vehicle. Safe travels, John

I was thoroughly impressed with not only the selection, but also the attentiveness and knowledge of all the staff members. Coming out of a credit mishap, I was under the notion I could lease, however, John (one of the bankers) was most helpful, provided me with information that helped me escape losing my house. As well as helping me find a vehicle that was safe, reliable, and certified. I went from the end of a lease, not knowing anything, to getting into a nice preowned Chevy. (Certified to boot!) John, Peter, John and Tony were so helpful, and once I regain financial stability, I will most certainly purchase ANOTHER vehicle from this stellar automotive group! Thanks guys!

The best dealership I have ever done business with. Starting with Jenn's quick response to my inquiry, and the follow up by my sales rep. George. John in finance pushed everything trough with no headaches and the deal was made with in an hour. I have recommended them to many of my friends and family. I live in North Jersey and would not hesitate to drive down to purchase another car from them. Doing business with them was a pleasure.

My family was in need of a replacement for our 1998 Nissan Pathfinder. We had a fairly tight budget, but wanted a new car. We were able to purchase a 2007 Pathfinder SE for a terrific price. Staff was very professional, and most importantly very honest (i.e. gave us the rundown on the different packages, insurances, etc without hardselling us). We were in and out with a new car within an hour.

I was internet shopping for a new Nissan Rogue, and came across Windsor Nissan. I emailed the dealership, and Jenn, their internet manager contacted me right away. She explained the difference between the 2 models for me, and offered me pricing. She even went out of her way to compare the Rogue to the Toyota I was also shopping. She was so helpful, and honest, I scheduled an appointment to come in. She saved me so much time, and did most of my research for me. If you are looking for a new Nissan, email her before you waste your time at other dealerships. You will not be disappointed!

I bought an Xterra from Windsor Nissan and I have to say the salesman provided one of the most pleasant buying experiences I have ever had. He knew the product inside and out ( I have fiund over the years that many do not), gave me a purchase and great trade-in price and even entertained my 11 year old son who had accompanied me. The facility was spotless and the staff very professional. No complaints, all praise here. jk

My wife and I were fluctuating between two dealorships for our new Murano and were won over by the professionalism, courtesy, and staff at Windsor Nissan. From the moment we walked into the dealorship to the moment we drove off with our new vehicle, we couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. There were none of the high pressure tactics that we encountered with the other dealorship, and answered all our questions with honest and straight forward responses that seem to be in rare supply these days. Great showroom and service department were also key factors in our buying decision. Purchase price was also well below the quoted price at the other dealorship. We highly, highly recommend Windsor Nissan to anyone seeking a quality car at a great price matched by an outstanding staff of professionals.

Not only was Windsor Nissan's the lowest price, but the attentiveness of the salesman ensured that I got the product I wanted at the best price. Because my sales experience was so wonderful, I have continued to utilize Windsor for service of my vehicle. While they are a little more expensive that the no-name shop near my home, I gladly travel the extra 30 minutes. The service deprtment is excellent. Every time I bring in my car it is reapaired in a proffesional and timely manner. Once, I brought my vehicle in for a simple oil change and the mechanic identified a faulty piece of equipment that should be covered under warranty. Not only did they replace the part at no cost to me, but they also arranged for loaner car and dropped me off. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and am confident that all repairs were done correctly. Again, the service costs a bit more, but for the piece of mind of a high quality job it was undoubtly worth it.

I needed a car badly. When i went in i thought i would not even be able to get a new car but i had to try and see what i was eligible for. Surprisingly it came to be something i can afford in a car i always wanted to drive. The people there were great in assisting me in me choice and very helpful. Even the employees who didnt help me were very friendly. They made sure i was ok while i waited and checked on me every few minutes. I would gladly recomend this place to anyone needing a new vehicle. Hopefully i can bring them great business. I am very satisfied! Thanks Windsor Nissan!

Windsor Nissan is the only dealership I will ever go to. My high expectations were not only met in the sales department but also in the service department as well. I would recommend that if your looking for a new Nissan or a used car you go to them before anyone else!
